The weekend past by quicker than I wanted it too and now I was stood waiting for Kathleen at the bottom of my drive with my cheer jacket in my hand and a non lit joint in the other. I was going to need it in order to explain the weekend I just had to her.

Around 5 minutes later I saw her car pulling up and mentally prepared myself for one of the two options: to be hit repeatedly for being stupid: or to listen to her high pitch squeals of excitement.

"Good morning, beautiful." I greeted her as I opened the door and threw my jacket into the back seats, pulling my bag from my back and sitting in the passenger seat, pulling the door closed.

"Morning, Kimmy. How was your weekend?" She asked casually, starting the car up and driving towards the school.

"Ha ha..well..." I started, trying to find the confidence to tell her the truth. "I lied to you, on Friday night I mean. My dad was never picking me up-"

"What?" She asked, obviously confused.

"Let me finish." I told her. She nodded and allowed me to continue. "When I went to buy weed from Eddie, he offered to give me a lift back home from Steve's as he had my jacket in the drama building and he lived quite close to Steve apparently..so, he picked me up like literally a minute after you and Barb left, and he took me home." I stopped, checking to see if I could sense any anger, which I couldn't..yet. "Then we fucked in his van." I said quickly, hiding my face in my arms to shield it from her blows. I waited like that for a few seconds until I realised she wasn't hitting me.

"You..and Eddie..had sex?" She said slowly, trying to wrap her head around it.

"Mhm. I stayed at his house because I left my keys at home and locked my self out but then he came round to mine on Saturday and we may have gotten into an argument about it." I shrugged, searching through my bag for a lighter and lighting my joint up, rolling the window down so I didn't smoke out her car and get her second hand stoned before school.

"An argument? I don't understand.."

"He climbed through my window and I punched him because I thought he was a murderer, then he tried to say I gave him a fake number and he confessed he didn't have sex with me because he wanted to but because he..likes..me? I don't know really, but he stayed the night and we chatted, found out some things about each other and I haven't seen him since Sunday morning when he snuck out my window." I took a drag from the joint and blew the smoke out of the window before turning to look at her.

"Wait..so let me get this straight. You lost your virginity to Eddie Munson.."

"Mhm"

"You then gave him your number and he accused you of lying to him about it.."

"Mhm"

"Then he came to your house, got punched in the face.."

"Uhh, yes.."

"And then told you he actually liked you, and you got to know each other for the whole night?" She finished as I kept interrupting her.

"Pretty much. I wouldn't say he confessed his love for me but, he admitted that it wasn't just casual." I replied with my eyes on the side of her face. I watched as it scrunched up trying to wrap her brain around it all.

"So..are you guys like..dating?" She asked, turning to look at me quickly before focusing back on the road.

I took a drag of my joint as she spoke and quickly tried to inhale it too speak. "No! No, no. Not dating. Not having sex, not anything. Just..friends." I said casually, liking the sound of it.
