The night had flown by in a second and I-was-smashed. I mean, literally so smashed to the point me and Nancy did a lap dance competition and I won. Eddie enjoyed that a little bit more than he should've but I hadn't complained, it's not like it's something I haven't felt on my thigh before. I had also convinced him to play a shot game with me, which really was who could shot the most in 10 seconds. Surprisingly, I lost that..somehow. He had downed 8 whilst I only did a measly 6, Steve wasn't too happy about Eddie taking my championship.
There was also a weird stage of the night that seemed to have occurred. A slow song began to play, not too romantic but it was a slow song, and me and Eddie took the liberty to sway together. It was very weird, but we were so drunk I doubt we would've even remembered it in the morning. I remembered the way my hips swayed against his crotch because of our height difference, the way his warm and soft hands traced the outline to my body, how his rings were cold against the base of my throat as he wrapped his hand around it and pulled my head towards his so we could kiss passionately. The night may have started off shit, but the middle had definitely changed my perspective.
Now, the end was approaching and I did not want to be here when it did. I'd heard stories, I'd seen my own friends get involved in the end; first hand and it wasn't pretty, so I never stayed that far into them.
"Let's go!." I shouted over to Eddie, not bothering to let any of my friends know I was ditching; it's what I did at most parties and it annoyed them, I was sneaky like that.
I held my hand out for him as he approached and we locked our fingers between one another, leaving Steve's house and starting the walk back to Eddie's trailer.
"Fuck!" I yelled out into the night sky, exasperated by the adrenaline kicking through my veins. Eddie chuckled and held onto my hand tighter.
"Your boy the hair knows how to throw a party, princess. I'll give him that much." He admitted with a laugh, pulling me into his side by only my hand.
"Mhm, he does, doesn't he?" I responded blissfully, taking in the way the wind brushed across my skin so lightly it almost felt like I was in heaven. "Do you have a joint?" I mumbled up to him, holding onto the chain from his jeans.
"I thought you'd never ask." He smirked down at me, reaching into the pocket of his leather jacket and pulling one out along with a lighter.
"Have you been hiding that the entire time?" I pretended to act shocked, pulling an 'O' face at him.
"Maybe. Possibly.." he shrugged, repeating the words we spoke to one another in the back of his van.
"Well for that, I'm lighting it." I snatched the joint from his hand, being passed the lighter from him willingly. "No, you were supposed to let me take it from you." I stopped and turned to look at him, scrunching my eyebrows together in fake anger.
"Don't give me those cute, angry brows." He laughed loudly, putting his hands into his Jean pockets and waiting for me to carry on walking.
"They're not angry brows, that's just how they happen to look when I'm angry." I shrugged, lighting the cherry on the joint and started walking again.
"That's probably the clearest definition of angry brows, baby." He explained to me as I passed the cigarette over to him in the middle of the street.
"Do I get to sleep in one of your 'cult t-shirts' tonight?" I quoted Steve, giggling to myself and finding the joke hilarious.
