Mystery (Fred Weasley x Y/n Potter)

The rescue

I sat up frightened in my bed after a dream Harry had sat up as well. I looked at him"Did you see a snake.."

"killing a man?" asked Harry. 

My scar was pounding,"My scare," I grabbed it

"Mine too," he grabbed his scar

I nodded,"Should we write to Sirius and Lupin?" 

"I will write to them if you write to Dumbledore," said Harry

"Okay," I said pulling the covers out from over me 

I walked to my desk and got out a parchment. 

Dear Professor Dumbledore,

Harry and I had the same dream...It was a dream of a shriveled-up man sitting in a chair with Peter Pettigrew and another man sitting by him. Long story short, a snake killed the muggle caretaker, and we woke up to our Scars hurting. I have no idea what this means but we thought it would be nice to tell you

I rolled up the letter and tied it to Juniper. I pet her"Send this to Dumbledore," she nodded and flew out the window. 

I felt my stomach growl so I opened up our floorboard full of snacks and food. I grabbed a bag of chips,"I hate that the Dursleys are punishing us for Dudley weight gain," 

"I know. Thankfully our friends sent us foods and cakes throughout the summer," he said putting the floorboard back

I sat on my bed still feeling pain in my scar when an owl came flying in and landed on my bed. It was Errol. I grabbed the letter and it was from Fred. I pet Errol and carried him to Junipers cage. As Harry had Hedwig fly off with his owls. I sat down and looked at the envelope for a while flipping it in my hands

"Are you going to open it?" said Harry taking it from me,"Or should I?" 

"Harry!" I whispered yelled trying to grab it.

Harry had grown about 3 inches during the summer making him 5'5. I was 5'3 trying to get the letter. He jumped on his bed and opened the letter and began to read

Dear Y/n

I hope this letter finds you well. Do you need more food? I can always have Mum send you guys some more. I am sure it is no problem. I miss you! I can not wait until school starts up again. 

I chased him around the room trying to grab the letter.

He dropped the letter"I'll kill him," I grabbed the letter from the bed. I started reading were he left off

I really want to hug you tightly and hold you in my arms again. I miss talking to you face to face everyday and having you beside me in school all day. ;)

I lookup up at Harry,"Its not that bad," I blushed

Always remember I am a letter away if you need someone to write to or talk to other then Harry. Please write back soon Y/n/n. I have a feeling we will see each other real soon.

I smiled and fell on my bed holding the letter to my chest. ,"Your in loveeee," teased Harry

"Stop it," I smiled 

I rolled over to my side and kept rereading the letter repeatedly. I eventually fell asleep holding the letter. I woke up the following day to Uncle Vernon yelling our names. I quickly got up and got changed and put my hair into a bun before running downstairs with Harry.
