Mystery (Fred Weasley x Y/n Potter)

Present

Over the next week, Hermione and I practiced walking in our shoes because we were going to be walking in front of everyone. The amount of times we fell down the stairs is unreal. Cassandra taught us a charm to make it easier to walk down the stairs. 

I was in the Great Hall having Lunch when Juniper came flying down the a parcel. I caught the parcel and gave her a piece of beard before she flew off. "Whats that?" asked Fred

"A parcel," I said looking at the box. I began to unwrap it. there was a note on top

I hope you have an amazing night at the Yule Ball. Here is a Christmas present for you to wear. If that Weasley boy gives you any trouble let me and Sirius know. I am sure he knows by now what we are;)

I opened the parcel to see heart shaped earrings,

I showed Hermione the earrings, "Those are so cute! You should wear them tonight!" 

"I think I will they are going to match the rest of my jewelry perfectly!" I said closing the box and placing it into my pocket

"Let me see," said Fred leaning closer to me

"Nope, not yet. You will have to wait for tonight," I smiled

"Speaking of tonight. When are we getting ready?" asked Angelina to Cassandra

"Everyone should be in my room by 5:30 pm," said Cassandra

"5;30? How long does it take you girls to get ready?" asked George

"Well, we have hair, nails, makeup, showering, so depending if we want to look bad or not anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours," said Ginny

"Damn. All we have to do is shower and get dressed and do our hair," said Lee

"Even at though you don't have to because of your dreads," said Harry

"True," he nodded"But I gotta make sure that looks nice,"

"Well I am going upstairs to read for a little while then get a nice hot shower before the other girls," I looked at Hermione, "Use all of it," I stood up

"I don't use ALL the hot water," she rolled her eyes

"Yes you do 'Mione," I smiled at her. I turned to Fred"See you tonight," I kissed his cheek and walked out of the Great Hall. 

I got up to my dorm and set the earrings down before grabbing clothes and heading into the shower. I used my rose-smelling body and hair stuff. As I let the conditioner sit in my hair;I shaved. I rinsed off and wrapped myself in my towel before getting out of the shower. I brushed my teeth as I was getting dressed. Once I was dressed, I walked out to the dorm to see if empty. I grabbed my hairbrush and brushed my hair off any knots. I used my wand to dry my hair; I heard a loud crash coming from the common room. 

I opened my door and walked down the hall and the stairs. I looked over the railing to see the twins wrestling, "BOYS STOP IT," I yelled, laughing. They looked up at me, "MAKE US!" yelled George.

"It's so on!" I ran downstairs as fast as I could and jumped over a couch. I grabbed Georges's shirt and pulled him off. "There. I stopped you two," I laughed"Bye now,"

I felt arms around my waist, "Nope you staying here," Fred dragged me to the couch, and I sat on his lap. It was weird at first but I got comfortable. 

"Don't let Harry see that," laughed George

"Oh well," said Fred bringing me closer. I laid my back to his chest and he put his chin on my shoulder. 

"So what is our plan today? We have like 6 hours until the dance. It will take us about an hour to get ready," said Lee

"An hour? I need two!" I laughed 

"No you don't," said Fred into my neck. I felt him leave kisses

"Yes, I do freddie. I have a lot to do today," I tried to say normal as he found my sweet spot and I moved closer. He kept kissing my sweet spot

"Get a room," said George

"We aren't even doing anything," I said looking at him

George rolled his eyes"Fred is kissing your neck right now," 

I laughed,"Shut up. You want to kiss Angelina neck," 

"What?" he asked surprised

"I see the way you look at her," I smiled at him,"Thats why you asked her after Fred asked me to the ball,"

"I-uh," 

"George your my best friend. I can see it when you look at Angelina," I smiled at him

"But you couldn't see it when Fred was looking at you," said Lee

"I don't know," I shrugged. 

I felt Fred squeeze my waist and bite my shoulder before looking up. I continued to talk with the boys until Harry walked into the common room with Ron and Hermione. Harry looked at us and saw me on Fred lap. He started to walk over,"Y/n," he crossed his arms

"Stop it Harry. Just because you dont have anyone is not my problem," I laughed

"HEY!" he laughed"I do have someone," 

"Who?" I asked knowing he didn't but a crush on Cho Chang"Your hand?"

"I-uh nevermind," he walked away

He walked back to Ron and Hermione. Hermione smiled and winked as Ron was just in shock. They all walked upstairs; all the boys brusted out laughing. "Your hand?" they mocked"Nice one!" I stood up and grabbed a blanket from a chair before sitting back down again on Freds lap. I laid the blanket over us and laid back onto his chest. We talked for a little; I felt something poking me. I turned to look at Fred who was bright red;I chuckled slightly not letting the others here. I moved forward so he could do his thing to calm it down He grabbed my hips and pulled me back. 

"We still have hours; Lets do a prank," said Lee standing up

"Do you really want to be band from the ball?" I asked

"No," he sat back down

"Thats what I thought. Well anyways boys; I am going to go upstairs," I said removing the blanket from me and standing up. I put the blanket over Fred,"See you lot later today," I winked and walked upstairs. 

I got to my dorm and laid on my bed smiling at the ceiling. Hermione walked over to me and sat on my bed,"So? Did you just sit or did he pull you?" 

"At first he pulled me but when I went to get a blanket I sat down," I smiled

"Oh my godric!" she smiled

"Well I am going to take a little nap before tonight," I said rolling over

"I'll wake you up for us getting ready," said Hermione standing
