I was sitting next to hermione in transfiguration,"Can I have you attention please? Now,today, we will be transforming animals into water goblets," said Mcgonagall"Like this. 1...2...3 Vera verto," she tapped her wand and the bird changed into a water goblet. 

"Now its your turn," Mcgonagall walked down from where she was and looked around"Who first. Ah Mr.Weasley. 1...2...3 Vera Verto," 

Ron looked at his rat scabbers and tapped his wand"Vera Verto," there were green sparked and Scabbers was now a hair water goblet with a rat tail. Everyone in the class started to laugh and giggle.

"That wand need replacing Mr.Weasley," said McGonagall

Hermione raised her hand,"Yes Ms.Granger," said McGonagall

"Professor I was wondering if you could tell us about about the chamber of Secerts," said Hermione

Everyone immediately went silent and looked at McgGonagall,"Very well. Well you all know of course that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the four greatest witchs and wizards of the age. Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. Now three of the founders coexisted quite perfectly. One did not,"

"Three guess who," said Ron. 

"Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed magical learning should be kept with in all magical families. In other words, pure-bloods," Said McGonagall. I looked at McGonagall and then out of the corner of my eye Draco looked at heriemone. I glared at Draco getting him to stop but Hermione noticed

"Unable to sway the others he decided to leave the school. Now according to the legend, Slytherin had built a hidden chamber in this castle known as the chamber of secerts. Well shortly before departing he sealed it, until that time when his own true heit returned to the school," She paused and walked to the front of the room The heir alone would be able to open the Chamber and unleash the horror within and by so doing purge the school of all those who in Slytherin view were unworthy to study magic," 

"Muggle-borns," said Hermione. I grabbed her arm to comfort her

Mcgonagall nodded"Naturally the school has been searched many time. No such chamber has been found," 

"Proffessor?" I asked"What exactly does legent tell us lies within the chamber?" 

"The chamber is said to be the home of something that only the heir of Slytherin can control. It is said to be home of a monster," Said Mcgonagall

I gasped and looked at Hermione scared,"Well I think that's enough for this class," said Mcgonagall

We all packed our bags; I felt a tap on my shoulder"Hiya Y/n, We still studying Charms tonight?" asked Seamus. 

"Yes, I will see you at the common room at 7," I smiled 

"See you then," he said and kissed my cheek before running to Dean

I turned around to Hermione and she had the same expression as me. Wide-eyed and smiling slightly,"Umm so that just happened," I said pulling my bag over my shoulder

"I guess it did," she said grabbing her books

We walked down the hallway and met up with Harry and Ron,"Do you think its true?" asked Ron"Do you think there really is a chamber of Secerts?" 

"Yes, Couldnt you tell?" asked Hermione"McGonagalls worried. All the teachers are,"

"But if there really is a Chamber of Secerts and it really has been opened then that means..." said Harry
