Mystery (Fred Weasley x Y/n Potter)

I was looking at the egg in the common room trying to figure it out. I didn't want to open it again because of the screams,"Need help love?" Fred asked sitting beside me and wrapping his arms around my waist

"I cant figure out what this damn clue is and its in two days babe," I said in frustration

"Y/n, you said you figured it out already," said Hermione

"No I said that I am trying," I sighed"I give up," I put it on the ground,"It's so stupid,"

"No you cant give up Y/n. We have to do this; We have to figure this stupid egg out," said Harry"Come on lets go for a walk," he stood up

"I am good," I sighed

"Nope We are walking love. You need to clear your mind," said Fred pushing me off the couch. 

I sighed and nodded"Fine," Fred and Hermione stood up. We all walked out of the common room and walked around the castle; we stopped at the bridge and looked into the view. Fred wrapped his arms around my waist and his chin on my head,"Has Viktor figured the egg out?" Harry asked looking down

"Wouldn't know we don't actually talk about the tournament. Actually, we don't really talk at all," said Hermione"Viktor more of a physical being," Hermione laughed

"Get it Hermione" I laughed 

"I just mean, he's not particularly loquacious. Mostly he watches me study. Its a bit annoying actually. You both are trying to figure this egg out arent you Y/n,Harry," 

"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Harry

"It means that these tasks are designed to test us in the most brutal way," I said looking at Harry

"They are almost cruel," said Hermione"I'm scared for you two. Both of you got by the dragon mostly on the nerve. I am not sure its going to be enough this time," 

I felt Fred squeeze me tighter,"It'll be okay," he whispered into my head"I will help you figure it out,"

"Hey Potter!" yelled Cedric. 

Harry walked away while I just stayed in Freds arms,"Potter,"

"Cedric,"

"How- How are you?" asked Cedric

"Amazing," Harry said sarcastically

"Look, I realize I never really thanked you properly for tipping me off about those dragons," said Cedric

"Forget about it," said Harry"I'm sure you would have don't the same for me,"

"Exactly," said Cedric"you know the prefects bathroom on the fifth floor?" Harry nodded"Its not a bad place for a bath. Just your egg and mull things over in the hot water," 

Harry looked at me confused and walked over,"What does he mean?"

"I think he means to take a bath with the egg? I guess," 

"Well since everyone has the same clue. Why don't I just take the bath in the prefect's bathroom?" said Harry

"Sounds good. Make sure you write it down or a parchment so I know the clue," Harry nodded and walked away. 

"Love?" Fred asked. I looked up at him,"How are you feeling?"

"Nervous, scared, anxious. Everything," I chuckled slightly

"Come on. Lets go up to my dorm to cuddle a bit," 

"Okay babe," We began walking and he grabbed my waist to pull me in closer to him
