Mystery (Fred Weasley x Y/n Potter)

SLUGHORN PARTY

It was only one more day of lesson and three until I saw Fred. I was so happy and nothing could upset me. Hagrid put up the usual 12 Christmas trees in the Great Hall. I decorated mine, Hermione, and Fays bed with Christmas stuff because Parvati decorated hers with Diwali stuff and Lavendar with Hanukah(Mine own thoughts). Our room was very festive; Hermione shut out Lavendar because of Ron and never talked to her. Lavendar didn't put in effort either; I kind of gave lavender a cold shoulder but not to much. Lavendar has no control over her feelings; her and Ron are always kissing in the hallways. A lot of boys have been asking for kisses by mistle toes but Harry and I have used the passage ways on the Maruaders Map to avoid people. 

It was often that Hermione and I wouldn't sit with Harry and Ron at lunch or classes. Ron kept making comments on how Hermione snogged Krum she cant be mad. I just roll my eyes at him. Harry would join us in the library to catch up because Hermione didn't want to be in the Common Room with Ron because she is hurting. 

"Hes at perfect liberty to kiss whomever he like," said Hermione while the librarian, Madam Pince walking around us,"I really couldn't care less," she dotted the 'i' on her parchment it punch a hole. Harry didn't say anything and looked at his potions book while I reviewed my Care of Magical creatures book and nodded at Hermione. 

"And incidentally," said Hermione,"You need to be more careful,"

"For the last time," said Harry speaking in a whisper to us,"I am not giving this book back. I have learned more from Half-Blood Prince than Snape or Slughorn taught me--" 

"I am not talking about your stupid so-called Prince," said Hemrione giving the book a nasty glar,"I am talking about earlier. Y/n and I went into the girls bathroom just before we came in here and there were about a dozen girls in there, including Romilda Vane, trying to decide how to slip you a love potion. They are all hoping they're going to get you to take them to Slughorn party, and they all seem to bought  Fred and Georges love potions, which I am afraid to say probably work--"

"They are also 24 hours long," I said to Hermione,

"Why didn't you confiscate them then?" demanded Harry

"They didn't have the potions with them in the bathroom," I said,

"They were discussing tactics. As I doubt whether even the Half-blood prince," she gave the book another nasty look,"could dream up an anitdote for a dozen different  love potions at once, I'd just invite someone to go with you, that'll stop all the others think they've still got a chance. Its tomorrow, they're getting desperate. Y/n you might want to go the same. I heard a seventh year Hufflepuff planning to slip a love potion in your drink soon," 

"There isn't anyone I want to invite," said Harry but I knew he wanted to ask Ginny but he couldn't because of Ron

"The person I want to invite is at his house," I said closing my book,"I wish he could come with me," 

"Well just be careful what you drink because Romilda Vane and Joshua Detuena looked like they meant business," said Hermione

She began writing her essay again for Arthimancy

"Hang on a moment," said Harry,'I thought Filch had banned anything bought at Weasley Wizard Wheezes?"

"No one ever listens to Filch," I said looking up from my Care of Magical Creatures essay

"But I though all the owls were being searched. So how come these people are able to bring love potions into school?" 

"Fred and George send them disguised as perfumes and cough potions," I said smiling,"Its part of their Owl Order Dervice,"
