☆Johnnie Is Jealous☆

[ Jake takes Tara (his ex-girlfriend) on a shopping spree, and Johnnie tagged along. ]

Jake and Tara are currently in Target, walking around to shop for the woman. Johnnie was following behind the two, in the back. Watching Jake and Tara make breakup jokes and flirt with each other. He kinda felt.. off. His heart aches at the sight of Jake laughing and picking Tara up so she can grab something from the top shelf.

Jake was in a really good mood and he was flirting with Tara in a playful way. He didn't even notice Johnnie, he was too busy having fun.

Tara has a big wide smile on his face. As she gets set down. She tossed the item in the cart. "Johnnie! go grab the cheezits down there, pretty please??" she asks, laughing.

Johnnie forced a small awkward smile, as he nodded his head. "mhm, sure."
"Oh my God, you're so adorable when you're shy!" Jake said with a smirk. He walked over to Johnnie and ruffled his hair.

Johnnie felt his heart all fuzzy inside but he just rolled his eyes. Walking down the aisle to grab the cheezits. Tara spoke up, "Jake!!! Do you want a hug??" she has a wide smile.

"Of course I do!" Jake said excitedly. He walked over to Tara and wrapped his arms around her.

Johnnie grabs the cheezits and walks back over. Tossing the item in the cart, he was keeping a facade of false happiness.

Johnnie was definitely feeling something. He was jealous, but he didn't want to show it. He was just standing there, watching the two flirt.

Tara asks, "Remember when we dated?" as she laughs with Jake. "Ugh these are ugly." she says, looking at the exact plaid pants Jake is wearing on the clothing rack.

Jake laughed, "Hey, these are my favorite pants! Don't diss them." Tara laughs. Johnnie fakes a smile as he watches the two converse.

"Come on, you have to admit that these pants are adorable. Don't be jealous because I look so good in them." Jake said, playfully punching Tara's shoulder.

"Shut up, you're the only that can pull them off, besides, they're PJs" Tara laughs. "Ok, I got everything we needed. Let's go check these out. Johnnie? will you pay?"

Johnnie shrugs, "Ehm, sure." he replied, a heavy feeling in his chest.. his depression was starting to crawl up. And he knows it.

"Thanks, Johnnie. You're a lifesaver." Jake said as he grabbed Tara's hand and they headed to the checkout.

Johnnie fakes another smile as they head to the check out. He helped Tara add the items to the cart, and pays for the items.

Tara leaned on Jake as they walked out of the store. "Hey, can I ask you something?" she said, sounding serious.

"Sure, what's up Tara?" Jake asks.

Tara hesitated for a moment, but then she decided to just ask the question. "Do you think we would have lasted if we had stayed together?"

Jake shrugs, "Eh, I don't know. But I'm happy we split up because now we can focus on ourselves you know?" he says as he gets inside of his Tesla.

Tara in the passenger, Jake in the driver. Johnnie in the back. He was tired of smiling, he just sat there, silently watching.
