[ CW: yelling, mental/break ]

"What the hell?!" Jake screamed as he entered the house. The door flying open and shutting within the seconds of him stepping inside.

Johnnie jumped in surprise, looking over at Jake with a shocked expression. But Jake walks past him. He walks into the kitchen and opens the fridge door.

Johnnie follows Jake into the kitchen, still surprised by his sudden appearance.
Jake was seething. He grabs a bottle of booze and flicks the cap off with his fingers.

Johnnie raises an eyebrow at Jake, concerned about his behavior.

The punk hasn't even noticed the emo, he just downs a swig of the alcoholic beverage before slamming it on the kitchen table, nearly breaking it.

Johnnie flinches as the bottle hits the table. He walks over to Jake and places a hand on his shoulder.

Jake shoved Johnnie's hand off, "Don't touch me," he sneered underneath his breath.

Johnnie flinches again and steps back, looking at Jake with a hurt expression. "What's wrong?" He asks softly.

Jake didn't respond. He adjusts the Ed-Hardy hat he has on his head as he swiftly grabs the bottle and heads upstairs.

Johnnie follows Jake upstairs, worried about him. Jake feels Johnnie's presence behind him. He turns his head, "What?!"

"I just wanted to know what's wrong," Johnnie says, his tone gentle and concerned.

Jake rolls his eyes at this, walking down the hall. He goes into his room, slamming the door loudly. It made the door hinges shake.

Johnnie flinches again at the loud noise, and he sighs. He decides to knock on Jake's door.

"Go, Away." Jake replied, sitting on his floor on the other side. Bringing the bottle to his lips and taking a chug.

Johnnie doesn't listen to Jake and opens the door, stepping inside the room. He sits down next to Jake.

Johnnie soon after realizes Jake really does need space. Johnnie scoots away from Jake a little bit, giving him space but still staying in the room with him.

Jake stands up and walks to his nightstand. Setting the bottle there, before adjusting his hat again and sitting on the bed.

Johnnie watches Jake, still worried about him. "What do you want?" Jake asked, lifting his head and looking at the emo male that is seated in front of his door in the room.

"I just want to know why you're so upset," Johnnie says, his voice soft and soothing. "You can tell me anything."

A sigh left the punk's lips, "It doesn't matter, Johnnie." Jake replied, feeling a bit calmer now with the distance.

"Yes, it does," Johnnie says, still concerned. "You're my friend. I want to help you."

Jake shakes his head. "Just a rough day. That's all." His voice sounded calmer than earlier.

Johnnie smiles softly at Jake, glad that he's calming down. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Shaking his head, Jake stares at Johnnie from across the room. "No."

Johnnie sighs, but he understands that Jake doesn't want to talk about it. He just sits there, trying to be a comforting presence for his friend.

"Come here." Jake says, standing up from where he was seated on his bed.

Johnnie looks up at Jake, surprised by the request. He slowly gets up and walks over to Jake.

Wrapping his tattooed arms around Johnnie, Jake sighed. Resting his chin on top of the emo's head. "I'm sorry for going off, and scaring you."

Johnnie's heart flutters as Jake wraps his arms around him. He rests his head on Jake's chest, feeling safe and comforted. "It's okay. I just wanted to make sure you were alright."

"I think I'm okay now." Jake replied. Lifting his head off Johnnies, and looking down at him with a little smile. "I shouldn't have gone off on you like that though, you didn't do anything wrong."

Johnnie smiles back at Jake, glad that he's feeling better. "I'm just glad you're okay now. And it's okay, I know you didn't mean it."

Johnnie hugs Jake tighter, still feeling a little concerned for his friend.

"I got a ticket," Jake briefly said. Chuckling. He hugs Johnnie tighter in return.

Johnnie laughs too, his smile growing wider. "A ticket? For what?" He looks up at Jake with curiosity.

"For speeding." Jake replied, shaking his head. "I'm mad at myself, i was angry and i just sped in my car and fuckin' got a damn ticket."

Johnnie chuckles, finding it funny that Jake got a ticket for speeding. "I guess that explains why you were so upset. But it's not the end of the world. Just pay the ticket and move on."

"I know, I know. At least it's not a lot. I mean, it's pricey but.. ain't horrible." Jake cringed a bit.

"How much is it?" Johnnie asks, still smiling. "Maybe I could pay for it. You know, as a friend."

"That's very flattering, but i gotta pay it." Jake chuckles, pulling back from the hug. "$256 dollars."

Johnnie's eyes widen when he hears the price of the ticket. "Wow, that's a lot of money. Are you sure you don't want me to help you pay it? I don't mind."

"No, it's cool." Jake responded. "We've spent more on our damn youtube videos, a simple speeding ticket ain't gonna tank me." he chuckles.

Johnnie laughs, remembering all the times they've spent money on their videos. "Yeah, I guess you're right. But still, I'd be happy to help you pay it off if you change your mind. We're friends, after all."

Ruffling the emo's hair, Jake smiled. "It's fine Johnnie, I got it. I appreciate you."
Johnnie blushes as Jake ruffles his hair, feeling a little embarrassed.

"Okay, okay. I just want to make sure you're okay. I don't want you to have to deal with anything on your own." He looks up at Jake, smiling softly.

"To be frank, it is a bit ridiculous. That cop was an asshole." Jake replied, chuckling.

Johnnie chuckles as well, agreeing with Jake's assessment of the situation. "Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous. You were just speeding a little, not doing anything too bad. I guess that cop was just having a bad day or something."

"Guess so, which is dumb. Keep that negativity to yourself and don't make other people's days bad." Jake grumbled, grabbing the bottle and taking a swig.

Johnnie laughs at Jake's comment, finding it funny how he's still annoyed about the ticket.

"I agree with you, though. It's not fair that you had to deal with that cop and his bad attitude. Maybe you should have given him a piece of your mind." He replied.

"No, I don't do that, Johnnie. I always try to be as respectful as i can do other people, even if they're a dick. Unless they really, tick me off. But that's rare." Jake says back.

Johnnie nods, admiring Jake's ability to keep his cool even in stressful situations. "That's a good way to live your life."

"Yeah." Jake nods, taking his hat off. He lays his head on Johnnie's shoulder. His hat resting on his lap.

Johnnie smiles as Jake leans his head on his shoulder, feeling comfortable and happy. He wraps his arm around Jake's shoulder, holding him close. "I'm glad you're here with me, Jake. I always feel better when I'm around you."

"Me too, buddy." Jake replied as he smiled towards the emo.
