[ Jake goes missing, Johnnie is super worried about him. :( ]
----------------
It's been.. hours. Jake's Tesla is gone, and has been gone all day, and most of the night. Which isn't like Jake at all. Usually he tells someone that if he's going to be gone longer than usual, but..nothing. Nothing at all.
Johnnie sighs, taking a sip of his drink and looking around the room for his best friend. "Where the hell is Jake?" He mutters to himself.
Carrington walks down the stairs of their shared house. Seeing Johnnie sitting in the living room with a small bottle of booze sitting on the coffee table.
Johnnie looks up from his drink as Carrington comes downstairs. He doesn't say anything, but his eyes are bloodshot and he's clearly drunk.
"Hey, man." Carrington greets as he sits on the couch next to the intoxicated emo. "Are you alright?" he asked.
"Yeah... yeah, I'm fine." Johnnie says, trying to sound convincing but failing miserably. He can barely keep his head up.
"Oh, c'mon man. Tell me what's going on." Carrington gave a friendly grin as he wraps his arm around Johnnie.
Johnnie sighs and leans against Carrington's arm, closing his eyes. "It's just... it's Jake. I haven't heard from him all day, and he's not answering his phone."
"What..?" Carrington moved his arm and sits up now. His eyebrows furrowing as his light blue eyes looked at Johnnie now.
"He's gone. His car is gone, and he's not answering his phone. I'm really worried about him." Johnnie says, his voice trembling slightly. He opens his eyes and looks at Carrington.
"Oh man, maybe he's drunk at a party or something..?" Carrington tried to think rationally.
"I don't know... he would've at least told me. He always tells me if he's going to be gone longer than usual." Johnnie sighs, rubbing his eyes.
"Oh shit, okay. Here, let's try and call him on your phone. Alright man?" Carrington grabs out his weed pen and hits it for a second. Exhaling a small cloud of smoke.
Johnnie nods and pulls out his phone, unlocking it and going to Jake's contact. He calls Jake and puts it on speakerphone, waiting for him to pick up.
It made the unsettling ringing noise, before it picked up, but it sounded all crackly and then hung up.
Johnnie groans in frustration and tries calling again, this time trying to be a little more patient and waiting for it to pick up.
"Maybe he has no service?" Carrington hesitantly asked as the phone rings again.
Johnnie sighs and shakes his head. "He always has service. I've tried texting him, but he doesn't respond to those either. I don't know what to do..."
"Hey, hey. it's gonna be alright man," Carrington comforts as he takes another hit of the pen. Exhaling the smoke before the unsettling ringing stops, Jake didn't answer.
Johnnie sighs and puts his phone down, rubbing his eyes again. He seems even more worried than before, and he starts to tear up a little.
