Chapter 96

"Hong Minhae." Eunji looked back at the woman when they were at the doorsteps. "Don't you dare say a word against Jiyoon."

"Everyone is so worked over that damn-" Minhae screamed when Eunji clenched her arm.

"I said no." Eunji opened the door and dragged Minhae out of the house. Minhae tried to pull her arm away but Eunji kept her grip firm.

But they came across Jiyoon who was walking towards them with Dino trailing behind her.

"Uh...what's happening?" Jiyoon trailed off when she witnessed the most unexpected scene in front of her. Dino standing behind her with her kit.

"Jiyoon, why are you here?" Eunji tilted her head.

"Let go of me!" Minhae tried to wiggle out again but Eunji didn't let go of her. "Miss Jiyoon, help me out!"

"Uh..." Jiyoon blinked in confusion as she looked at Minhae's hurtful expression then looked at Eunji's firm face. "Why is Miss Minhae like this? What's happening?"

"Well, someone got fired today but they weren't ready to leave the house." Eunji said with a sarcastic smile and looked at Minhae. "Shall we go?"

"What- Miss Jiyoon! Help me." Minhae tried to grab Jiyoon's arm but Dino quickly came forward and made a barricade in front of Jiyoon with his arm.

"I'm sorry but no one is allowed to touch Miss Choi in my watch except The Choi's." Dino warned her and Minhae just gritted her teeth.

Eunji walked to the elevator and pressed the button. The elevator door opened, revealing Joshua. "Hey, Joshua."

"Huh?" Joshua looked up from his phone and looked at two women. "Ah! Please." Joshua moved aside with a smile and bowed with his arms out at Eunji.

"Mister Joshua, you also?!" Minhae gasped at another lore drop. Joshua just gave her a soft smile with a head tilt.

Eunji pushed Minhae inside the elevator and said, "Now, never show your face here again." Joshua came out of the elevator.

Joshua and Eunji smirked as they watched Minhae glaring at them as the elevator door closed.

"Bye." They waved. The door closed.

"Miss Eunji, what happened?" Jiyoon ran to Eunji and held her arm. "Is that what you didn't want to tell me?"

"Kind of." Eunji patted her cheek as she walked towards the house with Joshua following her.

"Did she do something?" Jiyoon jogged to walk beside Eunji.

"She was the reason for your old babysitters getting fired. She threw fake accusations at me as well to make me get away from Mister Choi. She was stealing all the things around and blamed others to make them fired."

Jiyoon and Dino choked on air at the sudden new information.

"But I got the truth even before she accused me and showed it to Mister Choi. I think this much information is enough for now."

Eunji looked at Jiyoon as they walked into the house. Dino and Joshua followed them in.

"I guess so?" Jiyoon whispered as she walked into the living room and saw her dad sitting on the sofa with Jeonghan beside him. "Uncle Jeonghan?"

Jeonghan looked in the direction of the voice and his face lit up, "Jiyoon!!"

Jiyoon smiled as she walked to him but her smile fell when she saw Seung-cheol's troubled face. "Dad?"

"Why are you here?" Seung-cheol removed his face from his hand and looked at her.

"There is a preparation for a festival but I got bored and came home because it's the first day and no one was doing anything. What about you?"

"I had to go company this afternoon." Seung-cheol sighed and leaned back against the sofa, raising his chin to look up at the ceiling.

But Eunji's face came in front of him. "You okay?" She asked with a small head tilt. A smile formed on Seung-cheol's face when he heard her soft whisper.

"Yes. I guess so." Seung-cheol sat straight and looked at Jeonghan and Jiyoon who were laughing while talking to each other.

"What will you do now?" Eunji walked around the sofa and stood beside him. Seung-cheol looked at her and raised his hand to grab her hand.

But Eunji quickly took her hand with wide eyes and looked at Jiyoon. Seung-cheol looked at Jiyoon and rolled his eyes while looking at Eunji.

"Seriously?" He asked with a whiny voice but she just smiled at him.

"What you did was so badass!" Jiyoon gasped and looked at Eunji with sparkling eyes. "Uncle Jeonghan told me everything."

"Language!" Seung-cheol and Eunji spoke in unison with stern looks.

"Like, you literally slammed the fucking stage with your toe-curling comeback. You made me want to lick your toes and worship you." Jeonghan bit his lower lip. "Like, fuck Choi Seung-cheol and marry me."

Joshua snorted at Jeonghan's words and covered his mouth to muffle his laughs. Eunji bit her lower lip with wide eyes, also controlling her laugh as she looked at Seung-cheol who was sighing while covering his eyes.

"Jeonghan, never step in my house again." Seung-cheol looked at Jeonghan but he had already turned his attention to Jiyoon.

"Uncle, that was so cool. I know what you mean but oh my, god. Teach me more." Jiyoon sat beside Jeonghan and opened her phone to show him.

"Hong Minhae is gone now. Who will take care of the house now." Seung-cheol grunted. "I need to find a new worker now. It's such a hard job."

"Get one who cleans and goes out till you find someone who is trustworthy to stay behind." Eunji suggested as she sat on the armrest of the sofa, beside Seung-cheol.

"I'll ask Mingyu."

"Is he your office assistant or personal assistant?" Eunji held a small smile as she shook her head.

"Then who will I ask?" Seung-cheol looked up at Eunji as he put his hand on her thigh. Eunji glanced at his hand resting on her thigh.

His body was covering his actions from Jiyoon and Jeonghan since they were sitting beside Seung-cheol, so Eunji didn't push him away.

"No one is going to put that much effort into finding a simple maid." Seung-cheol sighed again and leaned his head against her arm.

Eunji looked down at his head then something clicked in her mind.

"I have a perfect person."
