"Your new brand!" Seung-cheol shouted at the woman who was swirling on the office chair- more like, Seung-cheol's chair.

"Oh, don't worry about that." Eunji smiled as she stood up and walked to the shelf which had files and books. "Seokmin is handling it today."

"Isn't the brand supposed to be both of yours?" Seung-cheol raised an eyebrow as he walked to his desk and put his hand on the table while looking at Eunji.

"To be honest, I don't have much to do." She picked up a file and looked at him. "I work in the background in designing and managing other tasks. Today, it was just for promotions. So, I got off easily."

"You-" Seung-cheol just shook his head and sat down on his chair. "I'm surprised the launch of your brand spread like wildfire."

"Thanks for Yoon Jeonghan." She chuckled while walking to him. "Seokmin pulled dad's connections while Jeonghan also helped."

"So easily?"

"Why do you think I kept my friendship with your friends?" Eunji smiled innocently. "It's not always connections but little friendships also."

"You are learning business quite fast." Seung-cheol sat on his chair and leaned back, which made the chair also push back

"I know how it works. My dad is a manager." She rolled her eyes while walking to him. "Seriously. Learning business is not hard."

"You know. The way you are feisty is such a turn-on." Seung-cheol chuckled while watching her tilt her head at his flirting. "What?"

"It's your office, why are you flirting?" She stood beside him while putting her hand on the table and leaning on it.

He turned his chair to face her and crossed his legs over each other while shamelessly looking up and down at her.

"Eyes up, Director Choi." She flicked her fingers and motioned her fingers to move up. He looked into her eyes. "How can you be shameless?"

"Why? We are officially together now."

"Please don't remind me of it-"

"Come on-"

-A few days ago-

"Oh, fuck me. I'm so tired." Eunji slammed her head on the table with a loud groan. "Why are there so many things to do??"

"Well, because you dug your own grave?"

"And mind if I ask why are you here??" She looked at the man sitting on the bed. "Jeonghan?"

"Watching Netflix." Jeonghan looked at her while sipping on his coffee. "And sipping coffee." He paused the video on the laptop that was on his lap.

"That's MY coffee." She stood up and sighed. "I'm asking, why are you in MY bedroom?"

"I was missing my best friend." He cupped his cheeks while smiling. "Weren't you missing me?"

"You-" She grabbed the chair and picked it up in the air. Jeonghan choked on his coffee and coughed.

"Y-You! Don't move!" He pushed himself away as she walked to him with the chair over her head.

"Ugh!" She slammed the chair down and sat on it. "I can feel Seung-cheol's pain now." She rubbed her head. "You have started to barge in my house now."

"Barging? Girl, that sounds so terrifying. I welcome myself in." He huffed while making sparkling gestures in the air.

"Minghao is already terrified of you. The first whole week, he literally meditated for 24 hours."

"Your mom loves me. She gave me the passcode of the door herself."

"Cause you used Choi Jihoon as bait."

"Don't reveal my cheat codes."

"Seriously, why are you even here??!" She asked with an annoyed face.

"My assistant is annoying me. Telling me to do things here and there. I ran away from her." Jeonghan scoffed. "Your house was closest to where I was."

That made her more frustrated because she couldn't kick him out like that.

There was a knock on the door and a voice spoke, "Eunji, I made food for Mister Jeonghan. Ask him if he wants to eat."

"I would love to!!" Jeonghan yelled before Eunji and chuckled.

"Eunji, come out for a moment."

Eunji stood up from the chair and walked to the door. The moment she opened the door, she was greeted with the sight of Seung-cheol standing there while talking to her mom.

But what caught her attention was the bouquet of roses in his hands.

Seung-cheol turned to her and his face lit up when he saw her standing there. "Eunji." He called her name with a gentle tone while removing his cap.

"Huh?" She blinked, watching him walk to her. She looked at her parents who were there, including her brothers.

"I know this is not classy and big like usual proposals but I know you like it when things are casual."

Eunji choked on the air. Proposal.

"And I'm not in a suit 'cause that makes me more like Director Choi than Choi Seung-cheol." He looked down at his causal outfit and then at her eyes but she was staring at the bouquet. "Did you like the roses?"

"Huh?" She again let out another confused noise while looking up at him but she soon looked down because he got down on his knees.

Minghao raised an eyebrow while Jun kept scoffing. Their dad was smiling while their mom was squealing silently.

But Eunji? She was zoned out. She was staring at Seung-cheol's face as he was speaking his confession but it was like, someone pressed a mute button for his voice.

She couldn't hear. It wasn't even in her focus.

She looked down at his lips as he kept on going and going about how he fell for her and what the things that made him fall for her.

But she couldn't hear anything.

It was dead silence for her.

"So, Moon Eunji. Will you give me the honour to be your boyfriend?"

That line snapped her head out of the zone out mode and looked at his smiling face as he had put the roses down and was now, holding up a ring.

"Choi Seung-cheol." She let out a laugh with a scoff.

"Yes?" He tilted his head.

"This is not the right time."

"Huh, what do you-"

"Because I'm in my fucking night suit, you idiot!!"
