When Worlds Collide

49. Vegas, baby!

~Valerie's POV~

We had made it to Vegas and it was a little bit past eleven when we arrived. I wasn't all that tired like I expected, but I could still use a nap. We took a cab from the airport to the hotel and during the ride there, all I did was lean my head against the window and viewed all the flashing lights and beautiful scenery of Vegas.

"Is someone missing their hubby?" Sierra said in a baby voice as she pouted out her bottom lip and leaned her head on my arm.

I giggled "You are so silly, I was actually looking at the wonderful sights."

She pursed her lips, "Mmhmm whatever you say Mrs. I don't miss my husband at all, I'm just looking at the beautiful sights." She said in a high pitched voice

"Ok first off, I don't talk like that. Second, I never did say that I do or don't miss my husband and Third, do you have any plans for tomorrow?"

Soon the four of us started laughing, "I think we should go to the casino and chill out for the first day." Addison suggested

"Great idea, this way none of us will be tempted when it's time for us to leave." I said

We made it to the hotel and just by looking around at the surroundings, I'm ready to get in to something. "I know that look, you want to get in something don't you?" Sierra said

"Oh, you know it." I smiled

"Wow! This is just like in the movies!" Tristyn said smiling and looking around at the scenery in amazement

"I can't wait till you guys check out the room I got for us, it's amazing." We walked in the building and it was sick! Beautiful chandeliers hang from the ceiling and marble white tile floors. I see Tristyn looking at all the different places inside the hotel while she's on the phone.

That reminded me that I had to call Ryan. I took out my phone and called him up, I didn't get an answer so I just left a voice message, "It's me. Just letting you know that I made it and we're about to go to our rooms now. I'll call again tomorrow sometime, love you bye."

Addison motioned for us to come along and I went over to Tristyn who was still gawking at the shows being held, "Come on Tristyn we can look at them tomorrow." I said grabbing her arm

"Ok baby I got to go. I'll call you tomorrow. Love you too, bye!" She said hanging up the phone while trying to keep up with me

"Nate said hi and can you believe this place, it's amazing!" We all got in the elevator and we just smiled at Tristyn

"What? Why are you all smiling at me?" She asked

"No reason, it's just that we're glad you're having a good time, even if you are acting like a complete tourist." Addison laughed

"But I am a tourist, I've never been here before."

"Number one rule of tourism, never act like a tourist. You always want to remain calm and keep your composure." Sierra inquired. The elevator dinged open and we all stepped out, a man was walking down the hall and Sierra went bug eyed, "Wait was that Denzel?! Did anybody see? Oh my God! Denzel!!" She went running down the hall towards the directions in which the man had went

"I thought she said keep your composure."

"Don't worry, she did. She just never listens to her own advice." I said

"I told her she acts like Pam from Martin, the girl don't listen to me." Addison said. We walked on to the room and we waited outside for the return of Sierra. Finally she came back from around the corner with a disappointing look.
