90. Surprise!

~Valerie's POV~

<1 month later>

Today I told Ryan that after I pick Jeremiah up from school that I was going to drop him off with him and I was going to take Lilly to her doctors appointment because I didn't know how long it would take.

"Y'all sit right there, I'll be right back." I said pointing to some chairs outside of Ryan's office

I went in and he was sitting behind his desk with another man on the other side. "Hey Val, this is Joseph my accountant." He introduced

"Hello I'm Valerie. Ryan can I talk to you for a second."

"Yeah go ahead."

"It's actually kinda private if you don't mind." Joseph stood up to leave but Ryan stopped him

"Oh no you don't have to leave, I'm sure whatever it is it's not that bad. Go ahead and say what you want to say."

I sighed, "Okay fine. I'm pregnant."

"Oh no, not again!" He groaned as he held his face in his hands

"Yes again, I told you to use condoms but no you don't want to listen to me."

"I shouldn't have to wear condoms to have sex with my own wife! Now what happened with your situation, I thought you were still on the birth control and I don't remember us discussing about you getting off of it." He snapped

"Look don't get all bent out of shape because you shot your load in me and I came up pregnant."

He sighed and leaned his head back in the chair, "I think I should go now." Joseph said as he quickly left the room and closed the door behind him

"How far along are you?" He asked looking up at the ceiling

"About three weeks. I have my appointment Friday to see how the babies doing." I went over and stood next to him as I grabbed his hand and rubbed it across my stomach, "Would you like to go with me? The last time you went to the doctors with me was when I was pregnant with Jeremiah."

He looked at me and then down at my stomach, "I guess so." He said and I started to smile brightly

"Oh good! I just know you're going to be a great daddy all over again." I said giving him a kiss on the cheek

"Can't wait." He said unamused

"So I'll see you tonight when you get home and I love you."

"I love you too." He said and I left out the room to go get Jeremiah and then Lilly and I left.

~Ryan's POV~

Just my luck, Valerie turns up pregnant again. I do love my kids and I would die for them and even Valerie, but I don't know if I can handle another emotional tirade and always crying about something every five minutes and want to start arguments. If all that didn't come with her being pregnant, maybe then I wouldn't dread it so much.

I needed to clear my head for awhile so I went over to my parents house. "What a surprise!" Dad said opening the door and picked Jeremiah up to hug him

"Grandpa! I missed you."

"You too my little IronMan. Come on in and have a seat." We went in the house and I sat on the couch

"Dad is it alright if I could go play with my toys upstairs."

"Yeah go ahead." I said and he took off upstairs

"Would you like something to drink?" He asked me

"Yeah that'll be fine."

"So what's going on with you son, how's work these days."
