~Valerie's POV~
(I have been soo tired and bombarded with a lot of stuff, college is kicking my butt and sadly it's winning right now.😭👊🏽)
It was the next morning and I didn't sleep well at all last night, but I did manage to get some sleep in. All night I tossed and turned thinking about Ryan and this entire situation, it really makes me wonder; will anything good turn out of this? The answer is no, because of the lifestyle I chose to marry into, so in a roundabout way, I deserve all of this.
I get up early so I can have enough time to take a shower and then get Jeremiah up and ready. After that I fixed us some breakfast all the while thinking about what am I going to say when Jeremiah and I go see Ryan, hopefully this will not be a reoccurring thing.

*After getting ready and eating breakfast, I decided to go ahead and get this dreadful situation over with. I really shouldn't have to deal with this, I'm pregnant, plus I already have a child that I have to worry about. It seems like the stressful times are when I'm pregnant or when things start looking up in my life, I should just be like Nate, blame my crackhead momma or go just a little crazy.
We arrived at the jail and I was a little nervous about what could happen. Jeremiah looked around at the huge barbed wire fences that surrounded the building and security standing in different positions throughout the place, "What dat?" He asked pointing to the building
"It's a place where big people go for a timeout for being bad." I sighed
"Dada in timeout?"
"Yes, he's been a very bad boy and he deserves a timeout." We walked through the huge guarded gates and into the main building where we were searched then I signed in for visitation.
We entered the visitation room where multiple tables were set up in different parts of the room with a guard on each corner. A door opened that lead to the cells and out stepped Ryan. Even in his orange jumpsuit with his hands cuffed together, he still consumed power and dominance. With everything he did from his walk to demeanor, he absorbed pure control.
Once Jeremiah saw Ryan, he quickly let go of my hand and struck out in a run towards Ryan, "Dada!" The guard un cuffed Ryan as he had a smile on his face
Ryan picked him up and spun him around in his arms, "There's my favorite little guy!" I smiled at their interaction as I sat down at the table and just looked at them happily
"I miss you, dada." He said sadly
"Well I miss you too buddy, and guess what? Dada will be coming home real soon." He smiled down at Jeremiah as he pinched his little cheeks
Ryan looked up at me with a bit of confusion, "And why are you all the way over there? Come over here." He said patting the spot next to him. I slowly got up and eased my way down on the bench as he slid me closer to him
"You act like you scared. What's the matter, you scared of me now?" He asked looking at me while Jeremiah sat in his lap
"No, I'm not scared." I said quietly with my head down
He scoffed, "You sure are acting like it. What's your problem anyway?"
"I don't have a problem."
He lifted my chin with his finger so I could look at him and he stared deep into my eyes, "This is the same thing that happened when you ran away from me the first time and you will not do it a second time."
"I don't know what you're talking about." I said half-heartedly
"Tell me you didn't think about leaving." He stated
