"Come on bae, I spent all weekend making sure you have everything for your birthday in two days." Valerie said as Ryan heavily sighed
"Why bother, I told you, I hate my birthday."
"But why? Is it because you're getting older, and you're started to get a few grey hairs?"
He scoffed, "No, and if I was getting grey hair, which I don't have, it's because of our beloved children. They'll make anyone's hair turn grey."
"I don't get it. You celebrate my birthday, the kids, your family, my family, everybody except yours. Is it something that you didn't get as a child that makes you upset with your birthday or something?"
"I got everything I wanted and more, I just don't see the big deal of it."
"Well, do you have any plans if you don't want to make a big deal about it?" She asked
"Yep, I'm going to do what I did last year and the year before, I'm going to stay home, take the longest nap ever and maybe even find something good to watch on Netflix."
"Aw come on, that's no fun. You can do that any day, on your birthday you should have a little fun, and you're really gonna love my surprise I have for you."
"Oh yeah, and what is it?"
"I can't tell you the entire thing but I will say, it's a nice getaway and you're going to have fun." She smiled
"No thank you. You can save the time and the money, I'll stay here."
"But I already made the plans, I can't go back and change them now."
"Sorry baby, but I'm not going anyway on my birthday." He said getting up from the couch as Valerie stood up and caught him by the hand
"Ryan, don't be like that. I'll do whatever you want, no questions asked. You can have me anyway you want." She said as he raised his eyebrow
"I can have you anyway I want?"
She wrapped his arms around her waist, "That's right big daddy, you can do whatever you want."
"Well, since you put it like that, big daddy's gonna stay home and I'll have my way with you, after a nap." He said patting her on the ass and going upstairs
"Ryan, I spent a lot of time and effort into getting this nice getaway for you. You do so much for me and I want to return the favor, please, just let me do something for you."
He sighed, "Alright. If it's that important to you, I guess so." He said as she squealed with joy and hugged him
"Thank you, and I promise you'll love what I have planned for you."
