113. Family Reunion Part 2

The family reunion was just getting started as most of the people had already showed up and a few more would show up minutes later.

The food was already set up and Vlad made sure to put his prized possession cherry pie right in the mix of the other delightful desserts and treats.

"Mom, is everyone that's supposed to be here, are they all here yet?" Valerie asked Victoria as she looked around at all the people

"Just about, but I think we have a few more coming in shortly." She said as Valerie looked around in disbelief

"How can you tell? Do you know exactly how many people are supposed to be here?"

"Well no, but I just guessed that a few more will show up. Don't worry, I'm sure everyone will be on their best behavior." She insisted

"So far, so good. Let's hope it stays that way." Valerie said as she began to walk off and fix herself a plate. Since she didn't cook anything, she was willing to try almost everything and everyone else seemed to be enjoying the food as well.

She got her plate and took a seat next to Ryan. "Before you eat, did you get the cherry pie?" He asked and she looked down at her plate

"No, should I go back and get some?" She asked beginning to get up again and he pulled her back down

"No! Don't get that pie." He warned

"Why not?"

"Because my dad made it." He said and Vlad who was sitting across from then shook his head

"Valerie dear, don't listen to my delusional son. I make wonderful pies and you should try some, go on and don't let him scare you away from having any." Vlad said as Ryan was shaking his head no

"C'mom Ryan, is it really that bad?" She teased

"Yes! Trust us. If you value your stomach and your overall well being, you should not eat it." Eric said

Vlad scoffed, "So quick to forget that you ate it as kids growing up."

"Yeah and that is exactly why I hate cherries till this day." Eric said as Levi made his way to the table

"I don't have to ask to know who made the cherry pie." Levi said. "I always get a kick out of eating these things, they are soo good." He said as he began to eat the pie

Vlad smiled, "See, Levi enjoys my pie."

"Levi, how much is my dad paying you to say that his pie taste good?" Ryan asked as the others looked on in disbelief

"Nothing, I really do like the pies. You know cherries my favorite." He said with a mouth full of pie

"And I do know that you'll eat just about anything." Ryan whispered to himself

"Well I'll be right back, I'm going to get something to drink." Valerie said getting up

"Alright, but stay away from the pie."

Valerie went over next to the food to get something to drink, when a sweet familiar voice called her name. "My favorite niece, Valerie!" She turned around and Valerie's eyes lit up with joy as she went to hug her aunt Jackie

"Aunt Jackie! You made it!"

"Of course I did. I wasn't going to miss seeing you and that gorgeous husband of yours."

Valerie blushed, "Auntie, stop it." She giggled

"Where is he anyway?" She asked and Valerie pointed over to the table where he is sitting
