When Worlds Collide

89. Paradise

~Valerie's POV~

We had been riding for a few hours now and I was really wondering where we were going. He didn't turn off on any major city exits, so this really has me all confused about where we're headed. I don't say anything tho, I just sit back and ride until he either tells us where we're going or we'll see it when we get there.

Soon we had came up on the beach and the scenery was beautiful, a nice clear blue sky, white sand and the ocean just makes it all the more better. I found myself getting lost in the sheer beauty as he turned down another road. You can still see the ocean but it's a little bit farther away.

We kept riding on down the road until there wasn't anything around, I was beginning to become a little spectacle until we pulled up at a three story beach house. The kids gasped in amazement, "Are we going to be staying here?!" Jeremiah asked

"Yep, we're staying here." Ryan said

"Oh great!" The kids jumped out of the car and ran up to the front door all excited

I got out and I looked around at the surrounding and it was very relaxing and calming. "Do you like it?" Ryan asked coming up behind me

"Yeah it's very nice, but how did you get the house? What if we didn't want to have a vacation this week."

He draped his arms around my waist and smiled, "I own the house."

"Since when?"

"A few years now but don't worry about all that, let's go inside and get settled." He said going to the back and getting the bags out

I grabbed a few myself and I went into the house. The kids were going from one end of the room to the next looking at everything. I went up the stairs to put the bags away and then I heard trampolining footsteps coming up the stairs

"Are we gonna sleep in here?" Lilly asked as the both of them rushed in the room almost out of breath

"Yeah and I guess I'll be on the top floor. You two think this room will be big enough for the both of you?"

They walked around the spacious room and looked out of the sliding glass door that leads to the balcony and smiled. "This is perfect. I'll take the bed next to the window." Jeremiah said plopping down on the bed

"And I'll take the one closet to the closet and the door because I always have to use the bathroom."

"Great, I'm glad y'all like it. Now I'm going to go see what my room looks like." I left out of their room and I went up the next staircase and into the room. It was nice and roomy, just like the room downstairs. It had a nice size closet and a king size bed

"Is it reminding you of home yet?" Ryan asked as he sat down on the bed in front of me while taking off his shoes

"A little but I like it."

"You know what I like?" He asked

"What's that?"

"I would like to have my way with you." He said with a smirk on his face

I playfully sighed and shook my head as I began to leave the room, but he quickly got up and caught me by the waist. "Oh no you don't." He said as he lifted me up with ease and dropped me on the bed and got on top of me

"Ryan get off!" I said laughing

"No, not until I have my way with you first." He said giggling

"Come on now, get up." I said trying to squirm away but he would pull me back

"Not gonna do it." He began to pull down the strap of my sundress and I would swat his hand away

"Stop that." He giggled and kept going as I tried moving away from him. He then would take his other hand and start to tickle me in the ribs and I was having fits of laughter
