101. Welcome to Russia

~Valerie's POV~

After months of planning and organizing, we finally have the chance to take a trip to Russia. Ryan and I talked about it in the past, but nothing was really a guaranteed thing until he said he wanted this trip to make up for our fifteen year anniversary. He promised that he would take me and he figured the perfect time would be while the kids are out of school for the summer

"Now remember when we get here, things will be a little different so don't go embarrassing yourselves and especially your father." I said

"Yeah you hear that Jermy, don't embarrass yourself." Lilly said snickering

"Just looking at you is an embarrassment in itself." He snapped

"Alright you two, no fighting." I said

"Sorry mom." They both said

"Just be yourselves and be respectful." I finished and then Ryan came out of the room and sat down on the sofa next to me

"Am I too late for the fight?" He asked looking at the kids and then at me

"Sorry if we woke or disturbed you." Lilly said apologetically

"That's ok, I was about to get up anyway." He said putting his shoes on and buttoning up the rest of his shirt

"I was just telling them to be themselves and don't do anything crazy." I said

"None of you have anything to worry about you're all good kids, well some of you are." He said staring at the twins

"Why are you looking at us? We didn't do anything." Isaiah said

"Yet, but I do know that I have to keep my eyes on you two."

"Aw come on dad, you can trust us to not do anything were not supposed to and we won't embarrass you." Zayn said

He slightly smiled, "Well I'm glad, because if you do embarrass me, I'll beat you so bad that you'll feel it for days, so don't try me. And if you get on my nerves too much, I'll just send you away to one of those child work camps in Siberia, and yes, I have that kind of power." He said standing up and walking to the front

As soon as he left, the twins looked at me with mortified faces, "Mommy, is he really gonna send us away?" Isaiah asked terrified

"He was only joking." I said

"He sounded serious. Can I go home to grandma and grandpa?" Zayn asked as he got out of his seat and cuddled up next to me with Isaiah following behind him

"Yeah me too." Isaiah said

"It's too late to go back now and he wasn't serious, he was only kidding." I said and they both held on to me

"You two better get up before dad comes back and see y'all about to cry, he'll really give you something to cry about." Jeremiah said smiling

Zayn closed his eyes and held on to me tighter, "Leave us alone, J."

Jeremiah got up and went upfront to peep through the door, "Uh Oh, here comes dad and he got his belt." He said snickering at them

"Mommy! Make him stop!" Isaiah whined

"Alright Jeremiah, that's enough. Leave your brothers alone." I said

"I was only playing around with them, come on twins lighten up." He said sitting back down

"How about when we land, you can call grandma and grandpa then. How's that sound?" I asked trying to cheer them up

"Ok, that sounds good." Zayn said as I smiled and gave both of them a kiss on the head
