~Valerie's POV~
It was the next morning and I woke up feeling refreshed and better than ever. I stretched my stiff muscles and I looked around at my room and noticed the sunlight was shining real bright through the closed curtains on the windows. I looked at the clock on the nightstand and it reads, 12:30. Oh wow, I guess I was all that sleepy.
I roll out of the bed and I walked into the living room to see everyone else was still in their pajamas as well. When I got in my room last night, I didn't feel like putting any pajamas on, but I didn't want to sleep in my shorts either so I put on the PJ's instead.
"I guess I'm not the only one who woke up later than expected." I said
"No kidding, I thought I was ahead of the game. I was gonna get up, make some breakfast for us and then I look at the clock and it's 12:25 so I said well forget it, we can just order room service or find something else to eat." Sierra said
"Don't worry about the food, I ordered everyone some breakfast so there's no need to worry." Tristyn said happily
"Thanks Tristyn, you didn't have to do that." I said
"I know, but I wanted to do something nice. Plus I was hungry and I didn't think it would be fair for me to order something and you guys not have anything."
"We appreciate it. So since we sort of slept half the day away what do we have planned?" Addison said
"I still liked the idea of going to the casino and then taking a swim later tonight. I think we should stick with that." I said
"Ok deal." She said. There was a knock at the door and Tristyn got up to answer it. She came back with our food and it was smelling heavenly
"I hope you guys like blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast and a side of bacon." She said revealing the food trays
"Uh who doesn't love those combinations?!" Sierra said getting up and grabbing her a plate
We all grabbed a plate and sat at the dining room table and ate our food and drunk our orange juice in peace.

After breakfast we all took a shower and decided to head down to the casinos and try our luck. I wasn't a big gambler so I chose to stay with the quarter slot machines, that way I won't worry about losing any big money. "Come on Val and get with me with this blackjack." Sierra said tugging me away from the machine
"No Sierra, you know I'm not a big gambler and besides I don't know what I'm doing. The only reason I understand this machine is because it makes noise, lights up and has pictures to tell me if I won anything or not, other than that, I can't help you."
"Come on and just try it with me, you don't have to put any big money up or nothing. Please, for fun."
"Alright I'll do it, only because we are here for fun." She squealed with excitement and dragged me over to the blackjack table. She put out a twenty and I did the same and betting on the same thing she did. I started to take it back but it was to late. We actually won and now we have forty a piece.

She kept this going until we was up a thousand a piece. I offered to back out now because it's only a matter of time before I lose it all. "Aw come on Val don't back out now, we're just getting on a roll."
"I told you I know nothing about this. I feel like it's time for me to step away, but you keep going." I took my earnings and went to the 21 table, finally something I at least know how to play.
I lost about three hundred at that table but I gained most of it back with the lucky numbers. So now my total is $850
