~Valerie's POV~

We made it to a big building and my nerves had eventually left me but the fear of the unknown still had its hold on me. We walked in the building with the bodyguards and went over to the elevator, the building was very nice looking on the inside and had nice flowers placed throughout.

We reached the top floor and my heart started quickening its pace, I didn't know how to describe how I was feeling; nervous, excited, anxious, I didn't have a clue. All these feelings are overtaking me at one time, I'll do my best to contain myself.

We stopped in front of a huge door that's at the end of a hallway with frosted windows. Ryan takes off my coat and rubs my arm, "You think you'll need it?"

"No, I'm warmed up." I said putting on a brave smile

He handed the coat to one of his men, "You ready?" He asked straightening out his jacket

"Whenever you are." He nodded his head and two of his bodyguards went in the room. Ryan grabbed my hand and lead us in the room filled with other men at a long table. They all had a look of fear on their faces when Ryan stepped in. I know he can be a very intimidating person and it doesn't make it any better when he has men built like the Terminator to protect him at all times.

As soon as their eyes landed on me, they seemed to calm down a bit. Some looked at me with lustful eyes while others just looked shocked that I was even there. "Alright gentlemen, this lady right here is my wife and she's not here for your entertainment but simply for mines." He sat at the end of the table in a big leather chair and pulled me down, "You can sit on my lap, sweetheart."

I sat on his lap and my dress rose a little and the men at the end were staring directly at my crotch. I cleared my throat and tried pulling my dress down, "Won't your leg get tired from me sitting on it?" I turned around and asked

"No I'll be fine, just sit tight." I put my hands in my lap to avoid my dress from rising any further and Ryan put his hand on my hip while the other was on the armrest

"I'm in a somewhat bad mood, so would someone please make my day." Ryan said and the guy on the other end started talking about number sales and earnings. I just sat there looking alive as I possibly could, yeah I did major in business management in college but sometimes that stuff gets a little boring from time to time

I try to think of something fun and exciting like running through a field of flowers with a water gun and rolling down a hill and having a water balloon fight at the end, oh the joys of letting your mind wonder. "Do what you got to do, but I want it done!" Ryan's stern voice brought me out of my daze and I hope I didn't have a questionable look on my face when I let my mind wonder

"I will see what we can do." The man said

"You can and you will do it!" He snapped his fingers and a glass of water was set in front of him

"You want some water?" He asked me and I shook my head no. He took a sip and put the glass back down

"So nobody else knows how to turn this situation from a negative to a positive?" Ryan glanced around the room and everyone had a nervous, blank face and no one said anything.

He sighed as he leaned back in the chair, "I guess no ones leaving until I get some answers, the kind that I want to hear." He glared

"How about we double the percentage in the case it will double the interest." The man said shakily

"I'm listening."

"Take the earnings from the fifteen percentile double that with the gross income and it should give you a better total gross of income."
