~Chapter 5~
You're staying with me
Charlis POV:
Don't I just have the best assistant ever? I know it isn't really that big of a deal but I appreciate the little things.
Chase: "want a donut?"
He opened the box.
Charli: "no that's fine. there's only one left, you can have it"
Chase: "here, we can share"
I took the donut out and broke it in half.
He gave one half to me.
Charli: "thanks"
Chase: "no problem"
We ate the donuts and I started doing my work again.
Chase: "need any help?"
Charli: "no, but thanks."
I continued the work then I heard a knock on my office door.
Charli: "can you get that?"
Chase: "yeah"
He walked over.
Alexander: "uh. You again?"
Shit shit shit- why is he here??
I looked in the mirror. God I'm a mess.
How am I supposed to get rid of these hickies?
Chase: "can I help you?"
Alexander: "my wife's here right?"
Chase: "um, no"
I looked over and he pushed pass chase and saw me.
Alexander: "you slut. You're probably cheating on me right?!"
Charli: "i am not cheating on you."
Alexander: "you may be good at lying since you do it so often but let's see about this guy."
He looked at chase
Alexander: "is she cheating on me"
Chase looked nervous
Chase: "no"
Alexander: "TELL ME THE TRUTH"
Chase: "I am telling the truth! She isn't cheating on you!"
He walked up to me
Alexander: "you are lucky we are in public or id beat your ass"
He walked away.
Chase looked shocked
Charli: "don't worry he's exaggerating"
Chase: "I really hope he is.."
Charli: "he is"
Kinda.
Chases POV:
Even if he was exaggerating, that wasn't something you say to a girl? It's not funny and I'm worried for Charli.
Charli: "ok you can leave now"
I nodded and left.
What should I do?
Maybe I could-
I was interrupted by a loud scream coming from Charlis office.
I turned around and quickly burst in.
I saw her with her sitting at her desk with a pencil stuck through her hand.
Chase: "oh my god! Are you okay?! No that's a dumb question. Il get you to the hospital!"
She shook her head?
Charli: "n—-no—- I'm finne"
She said on the verge of tears
