Charlis POV:
I looked through my closet and I ended up going with a short sleeved cropped black shirt with high waisted black trousers, a long beige coat with black high heeled boots
Yes. I put a lot of time into this outfit.
I want to look good for this date but it's cold outside so I had limited choices
I looked through my collection of bags and ended up going with a brown mini Louis Vuitton backpack
I looked in the mirror and straightened my hair.
Alright. That's good- what time is it?
I looked at my phone.
6:48pm-
The door bell rang
He's early.
I quickly walked downstairs and opened the door
Chase: "I'm so sorry I'm late! I swear I didn't-"
Charli: "relax- you're not late"
He looked at his watch
Chase: "oh. I guess I was so worried I would get here late that I left 10 minutes early-"
He looked up at me
Chase: "you look beautiful love, prettiest girl I've ever seen"
I smiled and blushed slightly
Charli: "so do you"
He smiled
Do we kiss...? Or- what do we do- I don't wanna be awkward-
Chase: "alright you ready to leave?"
I nodded and he grabbed my hand,
We walked outside of the house and I locked the door behind me.
We walked over to his junk car- I mean car, and we got inside.
Charli: "so where are we going"
Chase: "a restaurant"
Very specific
He started driving
Charli: "any details?"
Chase: "oh"
He laughed nervously
Chase: "uhm it's the one that's- it's the one on the street- I think it's called Abruzzi"
I put my hand on his hand
Charli: "you don't have to be nervous you know, we've known each other for years"
He nodded
Chase: "I know it's just- I've waited for you for so long and I really don't want to mess this up"
I smiled
It's cute how he's nervous just because we are on a date, he was perfectly fine earlier today.
Charli: "we can just take things slow plus you're never the one who messes things up anyways, you've got nothing to worry about"
He parked the car in front of the restaurant and we got out
He grabbed my hand and we walked inside
Wow. This is a really fancy restaurant.
Charli: "this is really nice"
He smiled and nodded
We were escorted to our table and we both sat down
The waiter gave us the menus
