The day has come

Charlis POV:
Today is finally the day I've been waiting for 5 years?! I am so excited, I can't even think right now. I GET TO DIVORCE HIM!! After 5 years of abuse, labour, being forced to do things i don't want to do. I AM FINALLY FREE.
I will be rich, I will be happy and I will finally get what I deserve.
I deserve this, I deserve happiness. I've already waisted 5 years of my life being with someone I hate but today everything changes. My whole life changes.
Today will be a good day.
Maybe even the best day of my life.
I stood up and quickly walked downstairs to see Alexander sitting eating breakfast.
I smiled
Alexander: "clean up, you've been sleeping all day"
It's 9am?
Charli: "no"
He looked offended
I smiled
Alexander: "sorry? What?"
Charli: "I said no"
He stood up
I walked over to him and sat down
Charli: "listen up you little bitch, I'm done with you. I'm done with your constant need to be better than everyone else, your toxic masculinity, your stupid kids, im done with you hitting me every single day for absolutely no reason at all?"
He grabbed my wrists
Charli: "I want a divorce"
I smiled
He looked angry.
Truth is, he needs me more than I need him.
Alexander: "no you don't"
Charli: "yes I do"
He let go of me and slapped me
Alexander: "change your mind?"
I laughed
Charli: "nope, and now I'm gonna report you to the police because why not"
I can finally report all of the injuries I've had to the police
Charli: "wanna know the best part?"
Alexander: "no"
Charli: "I'm rich now, because of that prenup"
He laughed
Why is he laughing. This isn't good for him.
Charli: "what?"
Alexander: "you do know I extended that prenup to 10 years right?"
What?! PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS NOT TRUE?!! I DID NOT WAIT THIS LONG FOR NOTHING?!
Charli: "n- no you did not"
Alexander: "oh yes I did"
He laughed harder
Alexander: "you waited 5 years?! Just so you could wait another"
He looked at me and spit in my face
I wiped it off
He thinks I don't have a plan b? Now this one is a bit more... let's just say violent. And it won't end in his favor.
He is gonna wish he didn't extend that prenup
I sighed
Charli: "now Alexander, do you remember any of the other papers you signed?"
He looked confused And stopped laughing
Alexander: "no?"
Charli: "well, unfortunately for you, you did sign a inheritance contract"
