Charlis POV:
So does this mean he is gonna be here even less... or does it mean he is gonna try to be a better boyfriend and be here more? I feel like I'm over reacting with this. Just because he hasn't really been here during the night and he hasn't been here the past 2 days doesn't mean he's gonna do this forever.

That isn't why I'm overreacting, I'm overreacting because he keeps telling me he's gonna be here but he blows me off. I get excited... and he never shows up... and he doesn't even have the decency to tell me what he's doing...

Maybe all this time he's supposed to be doing this thing in the day but he's trying to be the best boyfriend for me so he leaves at night? And he stays up all day and all night just so we can spend time together?

In that case... that's kinda cute...
But is it that case? What if he just has to do this thing in the night and he leaves in the day for personal entertainment?

I don't know at his point but I think I'm over thinking this.

I picked up my phone and started typing

"Nothing has changed between us... I just miss you and I wish you'd tell me what's going on so I can understand why you leave so often"
I sent it

It's my problem too now, who knows if it's even a problem. But it's a problem for me, I'm worried for him. Why is he out hours a day and night for something?

I looked back at my messages

*seen*

Are you kidding me?
Maybe he's just typing.

I waited 3 minutes

He's joking right? Does he not understand he is one in 7 billion that I send these type of messages to? I'd never say "I miss you" or "I love you"

"Hello? Leaving me on seen now?"
I sent

"I'm sorry I didn't actually see the text, i miss you too. A lot. And I wish I could tell you what I'm doing right now... I just don't think I'm ready. I'm sorry"

Liar. He so read the text. He just needed an excuse to not tell me. That's fine. He wants to leave me on seen. Il leave him on seen, see how it feels.

I walked over to the couch and laid down

I am tired. How am I tired? I literally woke up at 1.

My eyes started to slowly close
I soon fell asleep

I was woken up by the sound of the door opening
I quickly bolted up

It was dark out.

Don't tell me I slept through breakfast lunch and dinner

Wow. I must have been really tired

Next thing I know a dog is licking my face-
What the hell-

I opened my eyes fully only to see a dirty Labrador Retriever licking my face-

What is happening-

I sat up and saw chase

Chase: "im sorry, I didn't know you were sleeping down here. I didn't mean to wake you"
Charli: "Chase why are you in my house at whatever time it is with a dog?"

He sighed

Chase: "i found this dog on a street... he was starving, I couldn't just leave him there?"

He is too nice sometimes.

Charli: "so what? You're gonna take care of him?"
Chase: "I could... but I was hoping that maybe we could take care of him together?"

A pet? Together? This would be moving way to fast?? What if we break up?? Who would keep the dog??

Charli: "don't you think it's a bit early for us to have a dog together?"

He shrugged

Chase: "we've been in a relationship for 2 weeks, that's good enough"

I smiled and looked at the dog

Charli: "okay."
Chase: "okay what?"
Charli: "let's keep him"

How can I not keep him? Look at him? He is adorable

Chase: "yay"

He hugged me

Charli: "does he have a name?"
Chase: "let me see"

He went down to him and looked at his old broken collar

Chase: "his name is Bo"

I smiled

Charli: "take off his collar, it looks like it's choking him. It's too small"
Chase: "okay"

He took the collar off and Bo looked a lot happier

Charli: "let's give him a bath, he is very dirty. Where did you find him anyway?"
Chase: "while I was driving back home, I saw him in an alley way getting rocks thrown at him by people"

Oh my god- who would do that-

Chase: "I shoo'd them off and grabbed him"
Charli: "good choice"

I picked up Bo and he was very heavy

Chase: "want me to take him?"

I nodded

He grabbed him from my hands and we brought him upstairs to a bathroom

I turned the bath on and it started to fill up

Charli: "you sure he doesn't have rabies?"
Chase: "does it look like he has rabies?"

I looked at him sitting peacefully on the ground sticking his tongue out

Charli: "I guess not"

The bath was eventually filled and we put him in and scrubbed him

I put some bubble bath in and it started to bubble

Chase: "I think you put too much"

The bath started overflowing

Charli: "I think so too"

I laughed but it really wasn't funny all my floors were getting ruined

He picked me up and hovered me over the bath

Charli: "Chase- If you throw me in we are over, I will never talk to you again, I will-"

He dropped me and laughed

Seriously

The dog started licking me

I tried to keep a straight face to prove me point but it didn't work

I picked up some bubbles and threw them at him

Chase: "don't break up with me please"

I smiled and rolled my eyes
He walked over and got inside the bath too
We scrubbed our dog until he was completely clean

I looked at Chase and smiled

I think we both knew this was the first time In a while things felt normal
