The start of a new beginning

Charlis POV:

Samuel: "mom make me breakfast!"
William: "yeah we are hungry!"

Do they ever shut the fuck up? I'm not their stupid mom. I didn't give birth to those rats. They are like 10 they can make their own breakfast

Alexander: "sweetie can you make them breakfast?"

I'm the only one who has a job in this house yet I still have to cook, clean, do housework. I hate it. I hate this stupid house, my stupid husband and his stupid kids. Trust me if I were their mom I wouldn't raise them like that.

Alexander and I got married a few years ago and ever since we got married my life went downhill. He actually used to be a fun guy. I fell out of love a long time ago and it's obvious that he did too. If he did still love me he wouldn't treat me like trash.

Charli: "uh, I actually got to go to work. Can you make it?"
Alexander: "you know I have work too!I'm busy!"

You're joking. Busy? He doesn't even work. He had a successful business like 7 years ago that made him some money and now he thinks I owe him my life.

Charli: "ok fine! Il make the stupid breakfast."
Alexander: "don't talk to me like that!"
Fuck off

Charli: "I'm sorry."
Not.

Unlike him I have actual things to do today. I have to interview people for a job as my assistant.
The last one was too lazy. I fired her.
I hope this time I can get a good assistant.

William: "mommy! Make us breakfast now! I'm starving!"

Chases POV:
Chase: "I actually have an interview today"
Blaire: "like for a job?"

I nodded

Chase: "yup, it's not big. Just for an assistant but it's something"
Blaire: "ok, yeah. Good luck"
Chase: "if anything goes wrong with the baby, call me."

She's pregnant, and it wasn't planned.
She was my girlfriend but then she got pregnant. So I proposed, I thought it would be the best for us and the baby.  I do love her..I'm pretty sure.
I haven't loved anyone in a long time, you sorta forget what it feels like.

Blaire and I have been together for 2 years now? We are getting married soon, I don't know when but soon. Shes 4 months pregnant.
I know I'm not ready to be a dad but I gotta get on with my life, I'm 26 with no job, no kids, and have almost no money. 
It's pretty sad.

Chase: "well anyways, I gotta get going, bye"
Blaire: "bye love you."

I walked to the door and left.

Charlis POV:
Charli: "ok bye. I'm going to work."
Alexander: "wait!"

I swear to god. What does he want now. I just made them breakfast and I'm already late.

Alexander: "are you wearing that to work?"
Charli: "yes"
Alexander: "that short skirt? That top that shows your entire chest?"

My god. Ever since he found out I cheated on him like a year ago, he's been "preventing" me from doing things or wearing things. He needs to get over it.

Alexander: "change, now."
Charli: "I will change at work"
Not

Alexander: "you better"
Charli: "k bye"
Alexander: "bye love you."
I smiled and left.

Great im already late.

I walked to the car and got in.
I started driving to work.

I arrived at the work place and parked.
I walked inside and everyone said hi and everything.
Mr.blan: "good morning Charli."
Charli: "good morning. Can you get me a coffee"
He nodded and quickly went to get it.

I'm kind of the boss around here.
Everyone listens to me. Which is the only reason why I haven't quite yet. It's nice to have someone listen to you.

I walked over to my desk and sat down.
Mr.blan: "heres your coffee"
Charli: "decaf?"
Mr.blan: "I-I'm sorry I didn't- I didn't know"
Charli: "that's fine. Just get me another one. By the way when are the interviews starting"
Mr.blan: "now."
Charli: "oh ok."
He quickly left

Why are people so scared of me.

The door opened and I looked up, the first person walked in.

Evan: "hey, I'm Evan"
Charli: "hello Evan, take a seat"
He sat down
Charli: "call me miss damelio"

Yes I've gotten married but there's no way in hell I'm changing my name

He nodded
Evan: "I'm sorry, but I couldn't help to notice how beautiful you look today"

Hm. I guess he's kinda hot.

Chases POV:
I think I'm supposed to go in here for the interview? I'm not sure.
Yeah, I think so.

I opened the door-
Chase: "sorry-"
I quickly closed it.

There was some guy on top of a half naked girl making out- okay- this is awkward.

Should I just wait here? Orrr?
Is this even where I'm supposed to go?

The door opened
Charli: "I'm sorry you had to see that."
Chase: "it's okay. I'm sorry for not knocking..?"

She looks oddly familiar.

Charli: "its fine. Come in."
Oh? This is the right room I guess

Evan: "so do I get the job?"
Charli: "no."
Evan: "oh.."
He quickly left

Hold up- he was here applying for the job-
So they just met-
Chill okay-

I walked into the office.
Charli: "take a seat"
I nodded and sat down
She sat down in the chair in front of me.
I noticed her shirt was a bit open. One of the buttons was not buttoned
Chase: "your shirt is-"
She looked down
Charli: "oh thanks. Sorry."

She looks so familiar. I just don't know from where? I swear I've seen her? Uhh think-
Wait- wait- no way.
Chase: "Charli?!"
Charli: "yes?"

Oh my god??
I dated her when I was 17. Almost 10 years ago? Wow. It's a small world

Chase: "we dated a while ago"
Charli: "oh- we did? And you still like me?"
She doesn't remember me. Really.
Chase: "yes, we ended it on good terms"
Charli: "really? I don't remember the last time I ended things on good ter- Chase?!"
Nobody's called me that in ages
Chase: "yes! But I go by Cole now"
Charli: "um. Yeah I'm just gonna call you Chase"
Okay-

Charli: "well, it's been a long time. 10 years? How old are you?
Chase: "I'm 26"
Charli: "finally someone my age"
Does she not hang out people her age?
Chase: "it's good to see you again..Miss damelio?"
I don't know what I should call her
Charli: "no, call me Charli"
