Charlis POV:
What.

He is in love with me?

That isn't possible?

How could he be in love with me?! This is all so confusing?

Charli: "you're in love with me?"

He looked down

Chase: "yup..."

Maybe hes not. He said it himself, he doesn't know what love feels like anymore. How is he supposed to know he's in love with me? How is he in love with me and not Blaire?

Charli: "you told me you don't know what love feels like anymore."
Chase: "I didn't know what it felt like.
Until I fell for you again. Part of me never fell out of love with you"

He never fell out of love with me? That was 10 years ago?

Charli: "after 10 years you still feel something for me?"
Chase: "yes."
Charli: "you're 100% sure? This isn't a joke?"
Chase: "I'm sure"

This is overwhelming.

Charli: "you said it took time for you to fall in love ever since your parents died. That's why you aren't in love with Blaire yet"
Chase: "that's what I thought.. that's why I was in denial for so long. Telling myself we were just friends. I didn't think I'd ever be able to fall in love again"

What do I say?

Chase: "not gonna lie it took me awhile to figure out what I felt for you, it started after the first time we kissed. I didn't know what it was so I kissed you again. Still didn't know what it was but it was a familiar feeling."

He's in love with me? How? And why? Im dating his best friend.

I mean, I totally get why he'd be in love with me. I mean, look at me. But I don't understand why he's never asked me out or even talked to me.

Justin: "whatever Chase, don't talk to me."
Chase: "can't you just break up with her??"

Wow. Rude. Sorta thought he was nicer than that.

Chase: "I know you might think this whole thing is a joke? But it's not. I know why you're really dating her. We've all heard the rumours about her, about how she's a slut, how she's hooked up with everyone on the football team. But You're on the only one dumb enough to believe them."

I rolled my eyes.

He seriously believes those rumours??
That's why he's dating me? Is that actually true?

Justin: "you don't know her? How would you know if they're true?"
Chase: "admit it. The only reason you are dating her is because you wanna get laid."

Huh.

Justin: "okay fine. I do wanna get laid. It's not my fault this girl won't ever just shut up and get naked. I never wanted it to go this far? I've been dating her for like 2 months and I'm still waiting. You can take her, but don't expect her to do anything with you. She's useless"

Chase punched him-

Chase: "first of all, she's not mine to take. She's her own person. Second of all, unlike you I wanna get to know her. Not have sex with her. Yeah she might be the most beautiful girl in the world but that's not what matters"
