Charlis POV:
He didn't- he couldn't have- did I hear what I think I heard- The L word? The L word within the First week of our relationship? You do not bring that word out until at least 2 months?? He can't just say it?? Even if he knew he loved me he can't say it? It's wrong. No no no. I'm gonna pretend like I didn't hear that.

I slowly started walking away

Mason: "charli?? Let's talk about this please??"
Charli: "sorry, I have things to do right now. This is my party after all"

I nodded and moved passed him.
I turned off the music and grabbed the microphone
I stood on top of the counter

Charli: "um- hello everyone. So you guys are all probably wondering why I invited you here."

I sighed

Charli: "I wanted to say sorry. Some of you have no idea what I'm talking about so just ignore this but to those of you who I hurt im sorry. I'm sorry for stealing your boyfriends, im sorry for getting you fired, im sorry for accidentally setting you on fire-"

Charli: "what I'm trying to say is, please forgive me. I'm trying to be a better person and that starts with forgiveness"

Everyone booed

I sighed and stepped down

Chase grabbed the microphone from me

Charli: "what are you doing?"
Chase: "hello everyone! I think it's so unfair that you come here but you can't forgive her for what she's done. Charli has made mistakes, but haven't we all? We've all made our share of mistakes. Some more than the rest, but it's apart of life. Charli is trying her best to become a better person, give her a shot at least? If you knew her, you'd know she's amazing girl and you'd be missing out if you didn't get to know her"

I smiled.

Does he really mean all that?

Chase: "so if you aren't willing to forgive Charli for her mistakes, then walk out that door right now"

Blaire left

Chase: "okay- well let's not include blaire"

Everyone else stayed

Chase: "that's what I thought"

He got down from the counter and put the music back on.

I smiled at him

Charli: "thank you"
Chase: "they deserve to know the truth about you"

I looked at the time left till new years

25 minutes?? Already?? Time passes too quick.

Mason: "Charli can we talk now??"

He followed me and grabbed my wrist

Charli: "don't touch me."
Mason: "charli you don't understand, I love you. It was love at first sight. I've loved you since the day I layed eyes on you"

Charli: "Mason... you said it at the wrong time... you know I already have a complicated life... this is just making things harder"
Mason: "it's okay? You don't have to love me back. I'm fine if you don't. I just wanted you to know..."

I sighed
And started to walk away and he grabbed my arm

Charli: "that's the thing Mason! I do love you back and that's what's making things more complicated"

No no no- I can't believe I just said that?? We've known each other for barley any time at all?? It's only been a couple weeks!?

Mason: "you what?"
Charli: "don't flatter yourself."

I walked away

Chases POV:
I'm gonna ask Charli to kiss me for New Years. I feel like after today we can get back together. It's a New Years, so why not have a fresh start? She's been sober for awhile? And she hasn't really had any problems. I think now is the right time, after 5 months of not being together. I think it's finally time to end our break. I know I've said this so many times, but now I'm telling the truth, nothing is standing in our way. Nothing will stop us from being together.

I looked at the clock for New Years

10 minutes left? I need to find her-

I started to look for her downstairs but it was kinda hard to call her when the music was so loud.

I started asking around random people but they didn't know where she was

I've already spent 5 minutes looking for her? I have to find her. She has to be around here somewhere. Imagine I don't find her and I spend New Years looking- that would be very bad

I went up to Patrica

Chase: "do you know where Charli is?"
Patrica: "I think I saw her go upstairs"

Upstairs? At her own party? Why?

Chase: "thanks"

There's like a thousand rooms upstairs-

I walked up the stairs and looked at the time

11:57pm

Great. I have 3 minutes to find her, ask her, and kiss her

I went down the hall and looked in the first guest room, then the second, then the third, then the forth, then the fifth,
and so on

Damit Charli? Where are you?
I don't have much time left-

I heard everyone downstairs saying-

What?! 10 seconds already?! How?!
