                  It was a mistake

Chases POV:
I'm so confused right now?? Is she okay?? Shes sounds scared?
Should I be concerned?? Why is she by herself on the street? I'm a terrible boyfriend. How could I fall asleep.
I should have went with her, who knows what could have happened?

Theres bad people out there, I want to keep her safe.

I don't know how I'm supposed to pick her up? I don't have a car? Il take an Uber to pick her up, I'm just confused why couldn't she order an Uber?

I would think she lost her phone but then how would she be calling me? Oh- the pay phones. There's a lot of those around here. That's probably why she couldn't call an Uber, she lost her phone.

Maybe that's why when she called I couldn't see her caller ID

I picked up my phone and called an Uber, I quickly ran down the stairs and by the time I got there the Uber was already there

I got inside the car

Chase: "Rue Montorgueil s'il te plaît"

The Uber driver started driving and soon we arrived on the street

Chase: "stay here, I'm picking someone up"

I saw Charli sitting on the side walk with her face in her hands
It Looked like she was crying

Oh my gosh is she okay??

I quickly got out of the car and sat beside her

Chase: "love, tell me what happened?"

She took her hands out of her face and I saw her mascara was everywhere, her hair was frizzing up and her lipstick was smudged

Chase: "charli please talk to me?"

She slowly nodded
I put my hand on her back

Charli: "i- im sorry- I took a few drinks-"

I signed

Chase: "that's okay Charli, Im just glad you're okay"
Charli: "that's not it"

Oh.

She started to cry more

Charli: "c-could we talk about it in the morning"

I nodded then kissed her

Chase: "yes, I know you're probably tired. Get you're good night sleep."

I walked her over to the Uber and we got in
I couldn't help but to noice the shakyness in her voice and the way she looked. Almost scared?

She laid her head on my lap and she fell alseep

I really do hope she's okay. Im glad she's back with me now. Something really bad cound have happened and I would have hated myself for the rest of my life

I brushed my hands lightly against her hair

Uber driver: "so what are you doing out at 5 am?"
He laughed

Chase: "just picking up my girlfriend"

He smiled

Uber driver: "you're a good boyfriend"

I smiled

Chase: "thank you but if that were true I would have been with her"

I looked down at Charli sleeping and o stranded my fingers through her hair
