Charlis POV:
I'm done with this. Whoever is doing this joke isn't funny??
They are watching me? I really hope that's a joke. okay, I appreciate the cake and stuff because I just thought it was the weird neighbor? but now I'm not sure.

Charli: "did you send me this stuff? it isn't funny."

he looked confused

Chase: "no? what does it say?"

I ripped the letter and recycled it

Charli: "nevermind, it's probably someone trying to play a joke on me"

don't get me wrong. I'm fine with jokes, I'm no Karen. this is just too personal. I've had a stalker before, years ago. It's traumatizing. Someone watching your every move, I never knew when they were watching or not so I was always aware of what I was doing.

I just hope it stops.

Chase: "Charli, just tell me what it said?"

I don't want to worry him for nothing, it's nothing.

Charli: "it's nothing, I promise"
Chase: "okay?"

he grabbed my hands

Chase: "Charli, I know you don't wanna talk about this but-"

I put my hand over his mouth

Charli: "no. im not an alcolic. I don't need your help, thank you for your concern but I'm fine"

he does not need to be worried. I'm completely fine. I'm not trying to be rude, I just know I don't need help.

Chase: "Charli-"
Charli: "I'm going to bed."

he sighed

Chase: "do you want me to leav-"
Charli: "no."

I really just don't wanna stay here alone...

Chase: "okay we don't have to talk about it right now"

I smiled

Charli: "good, now lets go to bed"

I grabbed his hand and brought him upstairs, we walked into my room and laid down on the bed
he laid down beside me and he put his arms around my waist and looked at me

Chase: "i hope you had a good birthday love"
Charli: "i had a great birthday, im sorry we didn't get to celebrate your birthday more, i promise we will tomorrow"

though i almost drowned today, i still had a great day.

Chase: "a lot of things happened today, you drowned, we got back together, I broke up with jenny, we ran into Blaire, we got a free cake"
Charli: "I think we can both say we had a pretty interesting birthday"

today was a very long day

Chase: "I can say that my birthday wish came true"

Charli: "what was your wish"
