EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

"it's not everyday you get bit by a bat creature," you tried to joke with eddie as you wrapped his wound, the denim jacket he normally wore now being worn by you by his request. when you finished wrapping it, you grabbed his hand to pull him up and as you did, he wrapped an arm around your shoulder to keep him stable. "time to help you with getting through dustin's makeshift rope."

eddie laughed a little, climbing up it as you helped him as much as you could. when you saw him land safely, you speedily tried to climb up the rope. dustin helped you out like he had eddie, and you went immediately to him.

"we need to get him to a hospital," dustin said as you shook your head. he gave you the most insane look as you went to the spot under his sink in his trailer and got out the first aid kit.

"i've got this," you told them, going back to eddie as you began to heal his wound, as much as you can try to do so. eddie stared at you the entire time you were at work, admiring everything about you.

the way your hands moved and how you did it with such care on him. you didn't take your eyes off of the wound unless you were grabbing some sort of medicine or bandage.

"you're all good, my boy," you said sweetly, rewrapping his wound as you saw him sit up and get closer to your face as he pressed his lips to yours. you didn't get many lip kisses from him, mostly he kissed your cheek or forehead, so this came as a surprise.

when he let go, you blushed heavily.

"all because i saved your life?" you asked as eddie smiled at you, his fingers running through your hair as you stared back at him like he held the world in his hands.

"all because i've never loved anybody more," he responded, his thumb gently rubbing your chin before he pressed another kiss to your lips briefly before letting go once more.

when he let go, you smiled sweetly at him.

"eddie munson, you are truly the best boyfriend i could've ever asked for," you told him sweetly, your eyes observing his as he smiled back at you, pulling you to a sitting position against his chest and between his legs as he kept you close to him. you smiled, waiting to see what he had to say. 

"and you, princess, are the best girlfriend i'll ever have asked for."

"are you saying that i exceeded your expectations?" you asked with a little laugh.

"beyond a reasonable doubt," he replied, smiling at you as you tussled his hair some, standing up as you helped him up.

"dustin, what are we supposed to do now?" you asked him, eddie also awaiting further instructions.
