you'd never been kissed before, never held a guy's hand, never been loved so dearly, never been so in love before you had met eddie munson.
he cherished you like you would leave him for the dumbest reason somebody could shove into your mind at school. he knew your strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, what you cherished, what you admired, what you wanted from life. he knew you inside and out better than you ever thought you could know yourself.
he loved you more than you thought you could be loved. he never let people stand in the way of what they'd think about the two of you being together and he was always standing up for the two of your relationship, granted most of the hate was directed at him and not you since he was classified as the freak.
"hey," he said, snapping you out of your state into your locker, causing you to jump and hit your head slightly on the locker door. you put your hand to your head, looking over at him.
"thanks for the morning head injury," you muttered, smiling at him sweetly. eddie chuckled, pulling you back a little as he shut the door to your locker and pulled you along with him towards the benches outside where you two always hung out during school hours. "and where are you leading me?"
"you'll see, princess," he responding, smirking slightly at you which caused you in turn to blush heavily at the pet name he gave you.
as soon as you two reached the bench, you both sat down as you fake admired the spot.
"wow! the scenery of the brick walls and dead plants is surely a sight for my eyes, pretty boy," you joked as eddie shook his head, smiling sweetly at you as his eyes admired every single bit of you- his mind admiring the parts of you that he knew better.
you looked back over at him, blushing heavily.
"what?" you asked.
"oh, oh it's nothing," he said sweetly. "you're just the dumbest person to go out with a freak like me. thought your grades were proof of your intelligence."
you shoved him back a little, laughing as you shook your head. your eyes looked back at him, admiring everything about him, down to the little tattoos you could see peeking out of his shirt.
"eddie," you said, catching his attention once more as he nodded. you had been together for a while now- several months. "i love you," you told him, seeing him smile sweetly at you, standing up and going over to you as he leaned down and was about to kiss you, you assumed, but the ringing bell interrupted what was going to happen. you sighed, looking over as you saw chrissy walking towards the stadium section near the woods.
"what's she doing?" you asked eddie as he looked down towards his watch. you obviously noticed and watched him grab his metal box as you shook your head. "no way, you're selling drugs to chrissy cunningham?" you questioned, standing up quickly as eddie ran his fingers through your hair.
"hey," he said, causing you to look up at him. "there's no need to worry. she asked me for help."
"but, eddie,-" you began again but he smiled at you still, pressing a kiss to your cheek as you closed your eyes and leaned into the feeling. your hands grabbed his denim jacket as you pulled him close to you.
"i'm not going to be gone that long and nobody could ever steal my heart away from you, princess. you hold it in your hands," he muttered softly as you looked up at him.
"how did you-?"
"how could you forget that i have such an incredible memory when it comes to you?" he smiled, pressing yet another kiss to your cheek before letting out a sigh. "okay! time to go sell a cheerleader some drugs and you, my girl, should find the little butthead dustin and sit with him at my table."
