"What's going on there, Theia?" One of the guards of stairs asked her.

"The... house exploded," she muttered quietly. She wondered how, they could find out that Levi was her accomplice and what would happen to them if they stayed there another hour. Levi pulled her again, ignoring her sad look.

"It was just a house," he said dispassionately. He took her in his arms and used the ODM gear to transport them both to the nearest hospital as quickly as possible.

He gracefully landed just in front of main door, but did not let her go of his arms.

"I can handle it myself," she tried to protest, but he walked towards the infirmary without saying a word. He kicked the door open, causing heart-attack to the nurses inside. Theia covered her face in embarrassment. "You seem like a dream to me," she commented the situation. Levi frowned.

"I often say the same thing about you," she didn't meet his eyes. He placed her on one of the free beds and let the nurses do their work.

"Will you please give the document to my father?" She asked him, cringing at the doses of pain from the treatment.

"I planned it," he assured her, leaving her without a word. Theia sighed. She lay down on the bed and wondered which of the things she had done in the last few days would deserve a slap.

They fixed her leg properly and ordered to take care of it for at least two weeks, which meant that she was staying in Mitras, at least until she felt better. Levi immediately returned to the scouts and relayed the message she had received underground. The news also reached Commandant Pixis and he suspended all of his soldiers' missions, including Thea. But the evidence against Stawnes was not enough. On the other hand, the supply of opium to the underground has miraculously stopped. So at least, some good news. Bred has been recovering from his injuries and will soon be able to be questioned. Until then, they can only wait.

The royal capital Mitras 25th October 843

She walked slowly through the beautiful city. A week had passed since the mission and no word about Levi. She did not understand herself why he did not leave her mind. After a few minutes she felt the pain again and decided to go back. She was returning to Trost, where she along with Commandant Pixis, Shadis and her father were supposed to meet Bred to ask him a few questions. She carefully limped towards the infirmary, where she had been staying for a week, but a ball jumped to her direction. A little boy, barely five years old, ran past her. She smiled at his nonchalance.

"Miss! Miss!" She heard a child's cry. She turned. "Please. My ball fell into the canal and I can't reach it," she sighed and followed the boy with slow steps to show its direction. She stroked his head as they stopped just beside the canal where the ball was floating. She bent down to reach it, but she couldn't reach it herself. She thought about it. She pulled out the only dagger she had with her and used it to move the ball closer and successfully pulled it out. The boy stood at a distance. She walked up to him to give him the ball but noticed two tall men standing behind him.

"Drop it," they ordered her, and one of them himself put a dagger to the boy's neck. She smiled at the intelligence of the people of the capital. They walked by and pretended not to see anything. Therefore, she threw away her only weapon and raised her open palms towards them. They handcuffed her almost immediately and only then released the boy.

"I'm sorry," the boy sadly walked past her, took the ball and ran as fast as his legs could. She was forcibly dragged to a nearby underground entrance that was not marked on any maps. It was located in a small building masquerading as a herb shop. She quickly guessed what kind of herbs it means. They pushed her down the stairs and the sharp smell hit her nose again. Right then she noticed that they had entered familiar place. Kitchen in the underground in big Rot's house. She closed her eyes. Unarmed, wounded, and handcuffed. She realized that she had a bad day. She was led through the kitchen through a long hallway, up another set of stairs and down another hallway into the great hall. There were guards at the edges, and at the very end, sat a smaller, quite obese man. They made her kneel a meter in front of him. Her leg was burning after the long journey, so she was grateful that they had finally arrived at the right place. The gray-haired man stared at her disgustingly for a moment and smiled, which made her feel sick.
