They arrived in Shiganshina together late in the evening. Exuberant festival was in full swing. Music and laughter resounded throughout the city, which was illuminated by colorful lanterns.

"Hey sir! Shoot your lady, one of our gorgeous gifts!" Levi was challenged by one of the sellers, whom they were trying to pass unnoticed. Levi ignored his challenge and dragged Theia further through the crowd. "Such a young gentleman is probably afraid that he would embarrass himself in front of his love," Levi stopped, and Theia did not want to believe that Mr. Ackerman, stone-faced under all circumstances, would be provoked by a few embarrassing phrases. He snapped back in frustration and looked into Theia's surprised eyes. He let go of her hand and turned back to the stall. Theia noticed from a distance how he threw some coins on the counter and expertly loaded the gun with wooden pellets. She grabbed her head and waited until he fired all the targets at once. The shocked seller only had eyes for crying.

"You really had to do that?" She stopped a short distance from him, smiling mischievously.

"What do you want?" He asked, but Theia didn't understand his question. The seller offered her the rewards, which Levi shot.

"Keep it sir! You just provoked his ego," she smiled and dragged Levi back to the barracks. Wordlessly, Levi reached over to the counter, pulled out a single rose from the vase, and let Theia's hand guide him out of the chaos of the city. "Sorry, we should have taken it through a side alley, but my legs are hurting so bad," she explained to him in a tired voice, watching the road ahead of her.

"If you liked it there, we could have stayed," he pointed out, clutching his shooting reward in his palm. Outside the gates of the scouting unit compound, she let go of his arms to hug him.

"Thank you, it was a wonderful day," she kissed his cheek.

"I'll take you to your base," he suggested, but she shook her head.

"It is not necessary. If you came with me, I wouldn't be able to let you go," her eyes fell on the rose he was holding in his hand. Embarrassed, he handed it to her.

"Take it," he said in a calm voice, watching her surprised expression.

"Do you know that the colors of flowers have a meaning?" She took the offered gift between her fingers. "A blue rose.... means..." she smiled sweetly at him and smelled the flower. "Well thank you,"

"Good night Theia."

"I wish you a good night too" she turned and left the campus with a smile. Levi shook his head at his own sentimentality and turned towards the barracks. He was pulled out of his thoughts by an unpleasant yelling, coming from Hanja.

"Theia!!!" She ran past him, but stopped at the gate, turned and ran back to him. "Hey Levi. Was that Theia?" She turned him sharply towards her by pulling on his shoulder. He pierced her with a venomous look.

"What do you want four-eyes? She just left and I don't want to see you even during my day off," his unpleasant voice didn't surprise her in the least. She fell to her knees unhappily, clutching a smaller cloth figure of a titan in her hands.

"Gah. I didn't see her all day and I didn't even have time to give her a present. That's terrible, I can't give it to her tomorrow! Or can I? In the end, you will be alone, abandoned and misunderstood, you my poor little thing," She unhappily pushed the titan figurine, the filling of which had fallen out.

"A gift?" A sense of nervousness began to fill Levi almost immediately.

"Of course. You didn't give her one?" She looked at his angry face. Levi knelt down next to her and grabbed her by the collar.
