"How long are you going to be mad at me?" Levi asked, watching Theia from the table as she prepared a bowl of herbs and spices in the kitchen of the scout base. He rolled his eyes. "Did you come here to make a salad?" He asked again, crossing his leg. Theia let out a frustrated breath and finished the herbal mixture. She poured it by hot water and turned to him. She crossed her arms over her chest.
"What were you thinking?" She asked him with a hint of anger.
"What have you been doing?" He ignored her question. Theia raised an eyebrow.
"I'll tell you only if you tell me what it was supposed to mean," Levi looked away. "Levi?!" She raised her voice.
"He did that too, didn't he? Lobov..." Levi started hesitantly. "These types are so fucking nasty that when they rape a woman, they will happily get pregnant her to torture her for the rest of her life with the idea that they have their child," he said in a low voice, not looking at her face. "So now, if you happen to get pregnant. It will be my child," Theia's pupils widened. She couldn't believe what she just heard. She couldn't believe the way Levi was thinking.
"But it doesn't work that way..."
"It'll be mine! Do you understand!?" Levi cut her off sharply, looking her straight in the eyes. Theia's gaze softened. She relaxed her tense muscles and exhaled. She thought, she would die of joy. What did she do in her life to deserve such happiness in the form of this man? She looked around to see if there was really no one in the kitchen and walked over to him. She sat on his lap and hugged him gently.
"Thank you," she whispered. She couldn't think of anything else to say. She wanted this gesture of his to be written in her heart forever. It doesn't need unnecessary words. Levi placed his hands on her back and breathed in her nice scent.
"So, what were you been doing?" He asked after while, but Theia shot out of chair and ran to the mixture, which she immediately strained into a glass.
"Another minute and I could throw it away!" She exclaimed.
"So, you're finally going to tell me? Or should I go to the library to look it up?" Theia smiled and walked over to the table where she sat down with a glass in her hands.
"It's an herbal mixture that will destroy the baby's newly formed embryos," she replied, blowing to the glass. Levi frowned.
"Embryos?" He repeated and Theia nodded. He reached for the glass and snatched it from her hands. Theia smiled.
"Give it to me, please," she begged.
"No," he dismissed and stood at the sink, ready to pour out the contents of the glass. Theia ran over to stop him.
"Levi! Stop!" She reached for his hand.
"Why can't you just accept my decision for once?" He turned to her in frustration.
"But I accept it, but behave rationally, please. It's been more than a month since that day!" Levi frowned in confusion. "I'm not pregnant. I know it...women things... " she whispered, watching his expression, in which she could clearly see how he was trying his best to absorb the information. After a few moments, he seemed to come to his senses again and his eyes widened. Without saying a word, he put the glass back in her hands and grabbed his head.
"I'm such a fool," Theia laughed.
"Why? What you did was the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced in my life," He looked into her face and watched as she furrowed her brows after drinking the herbal mixture.
"Is it gross?" He asked hesitantly.
"It's killing. It's gross," she drank again.
"It won't hurt you?" Theia looked surprised again into his caring face.
