She closed her eyelids painfully and registered another bullet flying around her, which she did not dodge, but still did not hit her. She looked up and saw a smiling Stones standing in the darkness a short distance away from this hell. Another bullet that missed her. She looked down at her hands lying in a pool of blood, realizing that he wanted her alive. Shakily, she stood up to look into the little boy's desperate, closing eyes. Gritting her teeth, she ran, bounced off the bars, and she stabbed the knife into the cheek of the first masked man. She pulled away sharply and cut his entire face with it. She hit the ground and immediately blocked the other's attack. She restrained him with one dagger, turned the other one in her hands and cut through his stomach. She backed away and kicked him with all her might. The third ran towards her at high speed and crouched just in front of her, holding short daggers in both hands. Theia merely raised her foot and rammed it into the crouching man's neck with all her strength. Thanks to his speed, he flew back about a meter. Theia walked towards him and she forcefully grabbed his head and cut his throat. Hot blood ran down her hands and dripped onto her silk dress. She threw the daggers on the ground because they were slipping in her hands. Wiping her hands on her dress, she pulled out the short sword that was strapped to her thigh. Her last weapon. She walked decisively towards Stownes, looking into his eyes with bloodthirsty hatred. She was breathing fast; her legs were heavy and her strength was running out.
"You're done," she whispered, but he watched her with a look full of wonder.
"I'm not giving up on you, Kathy," he said calmly, and she frowned at the strangeness of his answer. Kathy? She sensed danger. From behind Stownes, like his shadow, stepped Theodor, who drew his crossbow with poisoned arrows and aimed at the place behind her. Theia gasped in surprise and ran with all her might towards Sebastian, who was huddled next to a little girl. She stopped just in front of them and spread her arms, protecting them from the attack. Sebastian stared in terror at her face in pain.
"Take the girl..." she whispered.
"Stop it! We don't have the slightest chance," he objected.
"Please," she asked in a low voice, fighting to the effects of the serum.
"Give it up already," he watched as Theodor walked towards them. Theia closed her eyes and took the little girl in her arms. "What are you trying to do?" he asked, following her slow steps. He exhaled sharply, tore the girl from her arms and ran towards the exit. Theia dropped to her knees, smiling. The sleeping serum was closing her eyes and causing to lose control of her own body.
Underground prison under the royal city of Mitras
Levi was led deep into the prison through a narrow corridor, along which there were doors with darkened entrances here and there. But one of them was something special. They looked like they were made of metal and there was a guard standing in front of them. But Levi knew this guard. Gritting his teeth, he broke away from the guard and attacked the man outside the door. But his fist was caught by a metal palm.
"You fucking bastard. Where's Theia?!" Levi yelled at him just before the rest of the guards rushed at him. He turned around and kicked the first one. Two of them grabbed him by the arms and pressed him against the wall with chains around his neck. While they held him down with all their strength, they injected a sleeping serum into his arm. Levi felt his body weaken almost immediately, but he continued to fight back.
"What kind of monster is this?!" The guards wondered.
"I shot the whole cartridge to him and it didn't even move the guy," Theodor said and leaned against the closed door again, lighting a cigarette.
"Where is she? What did you do to her?" Levi asked, already weakened, but his voice was still full of defiance. Theodore watched with regret as kicks and blows caused him fell to knees.
