Spicy chapter

His eyes fell on the bed almost immediately. Uncertainly, he walked closer and saw her there. Peacefully sleeping, only in a shirt with a blanket between her legs. He came shakily to her and fell to his knees. He breathed a sigh of relief and he laid his head on the mattress. He hated himself so much, but he was so lucky that she is okay.

"Levi," he snapped his eyes open and raised his head to look into her surprised face. Her hair was in a long braid and she wasn't wearing any make-up, as was her habit. "What are you doing here?" She asked him in a low voice and he realized that he deserved to went to the jail, for sneaking into a woman's bedroom.

"I...feel free to call the guard on me," he said resignedly. He looked at the mattress again and Theia sat up, so she could move to him. She caressed his face gently. She knew he wouldn't just be there for nothing.

"What happened?" She asked again, but he didn't answer.

"I am sorry. I'm leaving right now. Sorry for waking you up" he stood up quickly, but she grabbed his hand to find him shaking.

"You can't sleep again? Or did you have a bad dream?" At those words, he looked into her eyes with a fear. Theia frowned and knelt on the floor, facing him. The short shirt was barely below her ass. She pressed her body to his and hugged him. He, even though he didn't want to, relaxed and rested his head on her shoulder. She pulled him in her arms to her bed, where she sat down. He sat down as well. He moved his hands to her back and pressed her to him, which pleasantly surprised Theia. He held her for a long time and neither of them started to talk. But Levi was the first who interrupt the embrace.

"Sorry, I shouldn't be here," he avoided her gaze.

"But you're here," Levi snapped back in frustration. "There must be a reason why," he finally met her eyes. They were beautiful, as green and sharp as the knife that cut his soul into two pieces. He ran his fingers over her pale skin. As if the brain reassured him, that she is fine and unharmed. "I'll make you some tea," she finally broke the silence and stood up. Levi's body reacted without giving him a command. He turned and hugged her from behind, still sitting on the bed. He closed his eyes tightly and gritted his teeth.

"Don't go anywhere..." he asked her, "don't go away from me, please," he whispered. Theia looked over her shoulder in terror.

"Levi, tell me what happened?" She asked him worriedly. She turned and knelt before him. She tried to find his eyes, but they were still closed.

"I don't know what's happening to me," he slowly opened his eyes. Theia frowned.

"Are you hurt in any way?" She looked at him with a searching look. He shook his head. "So?"

"Every single day I see you die in my dreams," Theia tried to keep a calm face.

"But I'm here," she assured him. "Ah, I'm here Levi," she took his hand and put it to her face.

"Yes, you are," he whispered, but he looked absent. Theia stood up again, sat on the bed and pulled his hand towards her. Levi seemed to wake up from a trance. "What are you doing again," He asked irritated.

"Shut up and come to me," she pulled him with all her strength as she has any chance against him. Levi thought for a moment, but finally took off his shoes and sat right next to her. She covered them both with a blanket and she put her arm around his neck. She pulled him to her. Reluctantly, Levi laid down on her chest and he almost immediately felt an overwhelming feeling of relief. He listened to her heartbeat. "Do you hear that? I am alive. As long as the heart is beating, I will be alive," she hugged him. He was beginning to realize how many new feelings, he was experiencing with her. No one has hugged him like this since he was a child. He had never felt so safe. No one had ever spoken to him so lovingly. His eyelids were slowly closing. Theia stroked his hair with her free hand and leaned against the head of the bed herself, breathing regularly. She always regarded sleep as the best activity in the world. She was never realizing, that it could be a walk-through hell for someone else.
