Theia woke up from a light sleep during the night. She sat up and checked Levi's leg, which she had already bandaged once. The threads were infected and the whole wound took on an ugly color. She was surprised that Levi didn't wake up already. She touched his forehead to find that he had a fever so she carefully stood up and searched the house again until she found a storage room with some herbs. She opened one glass bottle after another and smelled their contents until she found sage and agrimony, which she soaked in water. As she was leaving the kitchen, she noticed a knitted basket where she found some medicines she recognized. She took those as well and returned to Levi who was still sleeping. She sat down next to him and dipped a cloth in herbs, which she applied to his wound. She looked at his pale face and carefully moved the hair that was stuck to his forehead. She caressed his cheek and put the pill between her teeth. She sat on his body and slowly moved closer to his mouth until she was barely a few millimeters away and could feel his breathing. She touched his dry lips, which she gently opened and pushed the medicine between his teeth with her tongue. Suddenly Levi opened his eyes and could see directly into hers, which were examining him with a gentle gaze. He moved the pill deeper to his mouth and swallowed it while not breaking their eye contact.

"You don't care what it was?" She asked in a low voice and gazed lovingly into his eyes for a few more seconds.

"I believe you," he whispered and Theia pulled away to hand him the prepared glass of water.

"How long have you been awake?" She asked him with interest, waiting for him to drink.

"Since when did you get up," he returned the glass to her hands and she put it back on the tray.

"How are you?"

"All right. I'd like to leave before dawn," he informed her, shifting on the ground to sit more comfortably, his face frowning in pain.

"You have a fever," she began rubbing his face with a wet cloth to get rid of the dirt, while he watched her carefully. "You've got an infection in your wound, I don't know what to do with that," she wrung out the cloth and started washing his neck and shoulders again with cold, pleasant water.

"My body can handle it," he replied, looking at her sad face. "Why this expression?" He asked as she turned to reach for the herbs. She dipped a bandage in it and wrapped it around Levi's thigh again. He closed his eyes tiredly. "Tell me, what is your favorite part of the day?" He asked her as he felt her pale fingers tenderly care for his injury.

"You start," she urged him and Levi thought for a while.

"When you loose your hair in the evening, I can comb it for you. And then when we lie in bed while listening about your day and sometimes you laugh and I feel like I spent that day with you," she raised her eyes to him that he adored so often. Her irises were dark green around the edges, and the closer they were to the pupils, the lighter they were. Both of their eyes had become accustomed to the darkness of the night, but even so, the giant moon perfectly illuminated her face. "How about you?" He broke the silence and Theia looked down again.

"When we read a book, I start secretly watching you as you dive into your own world. I stop reading and just look at you, how beautiful and calm you are," Levi smiled at her words.

"I don't dive into my world. Because with you I'm experiencing a life more wonderful than I ever dared to wish for," he said with a smile and Theia put down the tools to look at his face in surprise.

"Does it seem to me? Or is the fever making you say embarrassing things?"

"Maybe," he smiled again. "Does it matter?"
