She climbed up the balcony to reach the roof of a lower building, where a cold wind almost immediately pressed against her slim body. She hid behind the chimney and waited for her eyes to adjust to the gloom. The first bullet flew in her direction and peeled off a piece of plaster from the chimney, to which Theia immediately bounced and ran across the roof, leaping into the air, turning and kicking the gun out of the assailant's hands. She caught it in the air and aimed.

"Who sent you..." she waited for two seconds and when she didn't get an answer, she shot the attacker's brains out. She lowered her weapon and bent down to draw a long dagger from his belt. "You've fucked up your day, hurting my man. I'm not in the good mood lately," she straightened and waited until the footsteps she heard approached her. She turned with one well-aimed shot and pierced the enemy who was aiming for her head. She helped herself with her foot and pulled the body away from the dagger to turn and slash the throat of another assailant who fell to his knees revealing another who pinned her against the chimney with brute force. Theia let out a painful gasp as the enemy grabbed her neck. But she turned the dagger in her hands and stabbed him in the head with all her strength, piercing his glute with the blade. The assailant fell to the ground just at the moment when Levi landed on his body with the attached equipment. Shocked, he checked Theia's condition and raised her up in his arms before more bullets could find their target. Theia just turned and stared unhappily into the distance at their destroyed apartment.

"It was just a place," Levi tried to calm her, as he used his gear to swing to the next building heading for the scout base.

"It was our home," she buried her face in his shoulder.

"Home can be wherever we are together," he assured her and jumped in front of the entrance gate, where Theia suddenly broke away from him. She dropped to her knees in front of him and forced his shirt up to look at his injury. Levi just stared in surprise at her shaking hands touching the bleeding wound. "It's just a scratch," but she didn't seem to be listening to his words. His gaze softened and he knelt down to meet her frightened eyes. "Hey..." he raised her head with his fingers. "I'm fine," he calmed her in a warm voice as she clenched her fists in fury. Without saying a word, she stood up and turned to the grounds of the scouting unit and walked towards the guest quarters. Levi let out a breath and followed her until she savagely kicked one door where they found Harald, sitting on the bed, a book in his hands.

"Ah Theia, I like a night visit in this outfit," he smiled, but Theia turned around and kicked him furiously in the head, causing him to fall off the bed along with the book. Levi scowled in disgust as she grabbed him by his clothes and slammed him into the wall twice before she finally pulled out a dagger which she stabbed into the fabric of his shirt to hold him in place. But Harald's smile didn't disappear, he looked up at her and spat blood from his mouth, which stained her already rather ruined clothes.

"A very big coincidence happened, my friend. A bunch of shits blew up my apartment, trying to kill me, injuring my husband and all this, exactly the day you showed your pale ass at the base! Would you like to tell me something about it?" She moved closer to his face as Harrald's eyes took in Levi's injury.

"Theia we've known each other our whole lives," he began in a too calm voice and Theia grabbed the hilt of the dagger to drive it into Harald's shoulder.

"And that's why I wouldn't be surprised when you wanted to tie me to a table and rip the baby out of my body," she hissed, "Look. I have enough of this shit already! Loosing my family, friends and comrades all over again. So, open your fucking mouth or I'll do it myslef," she pressed the knife to his body, causing Harald to finally looked her in the eyes.

"They know about you all..." he whispered to which Theia frowned. "All nations. Western civilizations want a shining crystal that is only found on our island. The eastern ones gas, and the small ones crave the blood of ancient, invincible soldiers, or titan holders. Paradis is no longer safe and the titans are the least of our problems," Theia straightened and let out a frustrated breath. She reached out to Levi, who placed a smaller weapon in her palm, which she tossed to Harald's feet.
