Shiganshina Military Garrison base 16:20

"Why did you leave?" Levi jumped off his horse and tied it up near the stables. He walked over to Theia, who was planting herbs in a small garden. She ignored him. "What are you doing?" He asked, stopping right in front of her.

"I think you can see that I'm planting so that next time I don't have to go to the survey corps base where obviously, my presence isn't welcome," she replied venomously.

"Noone said that your presence isn't welcome. It's clear that they want to deal with internal matters in private, after all, you are the ambassador of Mitras," Theia raised an angry look at him. She hated that he was always right.

"Then why are you asking me why I left a place where nobody trust me?" Levi rolled his eyes.

"Could you at least stand up when you talk to me?" He suggested and Theia let out a breath. Levi isn't a person she wants to vent her anger on. She stood up and took off her dirty gloves.

"I'm sorry, it just made me angry," she said calmly.

"Are you upset that they want to make me captain?" He raised an eyebrow.

"You never wanted to be captain," she frowned at his question.

"You think I'm not good enough?" He continued and Theia was afraid of where this conversation was going.

"Stop. No, I don't think you're not good enough. I myself told you a few times that you would be a perfect captain, but not now," she tried to make her words sound as sweet as possible.

"And when?" Theia's words caught in her throat in surprise.

"I don't understand, Levi. Since when did you change your mind?" He looked away at her question.

"You think you're the only one who can be the captain and give me orders?" Theia breathed out. She still didn't know how to talk to him about serious topics like this.

"It's not like that. I'm just scared. This unit will be formed for the most dangerous actions. We're finally together and I don't want you to be taken by titans from me," she told him honestly, but Levi's gaze was still serious.

"At least you would finally know how I feel all the time,"

"Ah, so this is some kind of revenge of yours?" She straightened up, her patience just reached its peak.

"You like to say you have responsibilities. I have those too. If I'm ordered to lead a special unit, I will do it," he informed her coldly and turned towards the stables where he untied his horse and left the compound. Theia took a breath, angrily watching the gate where he disappeared. She turned around and kicked with all her might the containers of clay she had prepared by the garden. The contents were spilled all over the campus.

"Captain!!!" Riko rolled her eyes and ran to her. "You can't break and destroy things every time you get angry!" She warned her and ordered the cadets to sweep up the dirt.

"Be glad I kick things and not people!" She cut her off. "Sometimes I really feel like thrusting all the weapons into him very slowly, one by one," she pressed her fists together and Riko's eyes widened.

"Better into him than into me," she pointed out quietly and took the broom herself to start cleaning.

Shiganshina District July 15th, 844

Has it really been two days since he came to see her? Really? Where are his words about love, about the fact that he doesn't want her out of his sight, and similar nonsense. She angrily kicked a little stone on the ground. She walked the streets of the district, where she was supposed to ensure order with her presence, but she couldn't say that she is doing her job right. She felt a crash into her body followed by another. She looked down and noticed a group of children running past her. She exhaled angrily, but one of them looked familiar. She didn't have to think long to realize that a gang of children was chasing the only boy who had run to hide in the canals, just outside the gates to the Wall of Mary. She rolled her eyes and walked in their direction.
