Underground city on August 6th 20:10
"She just wanted to show us her strength, I guess," Sebastian rolled his eyes, walking over mindless bodies, smoking his cigar. He had an ax on his shoulder and held the map in the other hand, which he turned in all directions, desperately looking for some starting point.
"Here," Levi pulled a piece of paper and pointed his finger at the old seat of the Big Rat, which was occupied by the new gangs. A large and flashy house that lost the owner was too lucrative to be without residents for a long time.
"If you don't tell me who burned the orphanage, I will ask your friends, but you won't live to see it anymore," Levi stepped out of Sebastian's shadow to see Theia standing over a lying poor man. He had both hands pricked to the ground by a daggers and she stepped on the top of one of them, bowing to the bandit.
"We're just here for a while! We don't know about any orphanages!" With a brutal force, she kicked the dagger, which flew sideways, along with a piece of meat. The man screamed in agony.
"In that orphanage were over thirty young children and about three adult women who took care of them," she slowly pulled out a needle from her hair, which she put to her lips. "They couldn't just fall under the ground because I think we are already underground. Where are they?" Levi looked away as if he was trying to ignore the situation. Followed by Olivia, who reluctantly looked at the dirty surface of the underground. Levi realized that it must be difficult for her to return to the place where she was kidnapped. His eyes fell on the half -dilapidated pieces of walls in the back of the room. He walked closer, listening to the screams of the man in the background. Maybe Theia didn't like his answer. He passed his hand on the wall that seemed like a new one, judging by a lighter shade.
"It looks like he didn't know anything," Theia's voice pulled him from thoughts. She set up cleaned weapons in the place and looked at the wall where she noticed a walled column. She went on and pulled out the bloody chains from under the dust.
"These are ..." Levi breathed out of the memories of that day. Theia nodded.
"The map doesn't fit," Sebastian said, spilling the rest of the cigarette to the ground. "Shorty, you'll have to explain that to me,"
"It doesn't fit because this wall wasn't here before. When I was kidnapped here, I was chained to a pillar that is now walled. Levi freed me from these bonds, but at that time we stood in the middle of the room, "
"So let's have a look," Sebastian said and put the map to Theia 's hands while he grabbed the ax into both hands. He stretched and hit the wall with all strength. The ax stuck in it and created deep cracks. He pulled it out and Levi kicked to that crack, causing the wall to burst. The remains of the thin wall disintegrated and formed a small hole. Theia walked closer and looked very carefully in. She firstly looked at the stairs and the gilded chair of the Big Rat on which he sat. After she had noticed anything suspicious, she stretched out a small opening followed by Olivia, while Levi and Sebastian removed a few bricks to create more space for them.
"I heard that you will soon become a captain, congratulations," Sebastian tried to start some conversation while he was carefully folding the bricks by his side.
"Thank you," Levi answered coldly and tried to quickly create the space.
"I wonder why they actually kidnapped Theia here?" Levi was silent for a while.
"Because of me," Levi finally replied in a firm voice, and jumped through a hole, which was already large enough to him and immediately looked for Theia, who studied the map, standing a short distance from the next wall.
