"Theia," he addressed her. "You're not leaving again for four months, are you," he watched as she picked her thumb nail from between her teeth.

"What?"

"I never like what you come up with when you are doing this," he pointed at her hand and she smiled at his concern.

"The last time I left, you knew my reason very well..." Levi rolled his eyes and stood up to carry the tray of food away. Theia followed him, but just before she put the tray down, she didn't miss the sound of clattering dishes. She frowned and looked out the window where a tremendous storm had started.

"Oh no," she sighed, closing her eyes at the next thunder. Just today, summer festivities were held in the city. They had time to look there with Ilse and Lynn in the morning, but they wanted to return in the evening, after their duties, but due to the weather it wouldn't be possible. She put the tray down and walked towards the exit, where she stopped, watching the torrential downpour.

"It's probably not a good idea for you to go out in this weather," Levi pointed out, leaning against the door.

"Och, really?" She raised an eyebrow at him and smiled playfully. She moved in front of him, and he leaned his back against the stone wall and crossed his arms over his chest. She stood between his legs and looked directly into his cold eyes. "I guess I don't have a choice and I'll have to sleep here," she said her thought too seriously, biting her lip gently. He tried his best to fight his own gaze so that he wouldn't fall to her mouth, but at least he took a deep breath. She leaned closer to him and put her hand next to his head. She studied his stony expression. He fought bravely, she had to admit it. "I guess I'll ask my father for keys to some spare room," she remarked, to which Levi looked away resignedly. He moved his hands to her shoulders to pull her away from him, but to her surprise his palm slipped into hers. He dragged her along a long corridor to the men's dormitories, known to her. They walked fast. "Levi, I don't think anyone should mind if I spend the night at your place, so why the rush?" They stopped in front of his bedroom door as he deftly retrieved the keys.

"That's not the point, but if some individuals find out that you are so close. I probably wouldn't be able to close my eyes knowing that," he explained to her in a low voice and opened the door, letting her in. Theia looked up at his face in shame and felt a rush of warmth to her face, but she carefully entered the room, walking straight to the window. She watched the dark sky and the heavy rain that ran down the ledges. A giant lake formed in the courtyard, and occasionally a flash of white light lit up the sky. Theia closed her eyes again, waiting for the thunder. The old glass in the window rattled and she crouched slightly. She felt the gentle touch of Levi's arms, which wrapped around her waist from behind. "Are you afraid of storms?" He asked in a concerned voice.

"Not really. But something so powerful cannot be disrespected," she answered him and touched his hands. She leaned against his body and scanned the room with her eyes, which she had not seen for a long time. It was perfectly clean, she didn't even expect anything else. "It's been a while since I've been here," she said with a smile and Levi pulled away.

"The last time you brought alcohol and a bunch of stupid questions," he remarked, walking over to a smaller table where he placed two glasses.

"The criminal always returns to the scene of the crime," she smiled, her eyes scanning the untouched bed where Furlan had slept a long time ago, to Levi's perfectly groomed. "You deserve a new bedroom," she remarked, and he immediately understood what exactly she meant. Lots of painful memories of not being the only one who came from underground to join the scouting unit.

"I don't care. I only came here to sleep for a few hours. Sometimes not even that." he started pouring water from the jug into the prepared glasses. Her eyes fell on the bedside table, from which a piece of paper was sticking out. She pulled it out with her fingers and immediately recognized the seal of the military garrison. She frowned and checked Levi, who was busy pouring water. She pulled out the entire paper, from which a strand of hair fell out. She immediately knelt down to take it to her hands. She was shocked after realizing that she was holding a strand of her hair, but the blood had been removed from it. She stood up and looked behind, because she knew he was standing over her.
