She counted the ammunition of Zachary's shotgun. Only two remained. She was hiding behind the giant wooden wheel, which she examined and deduced that this is the mechanism, holding slaves in their bonds.

"You have no chance to hide from me, you bitch," she was listening to Zachary's voice along with hard steps.

"You're a very helpless person. Unbalanced with yourself and with such a low self-esteem that forces you to do the worst things to make you feel alive at all. Actually, I am sorry for you," Theia pulled out a short dagger, waiting for his approaching steps, until they stopped right next to her. She breathed, stood up, determined to attack, but her hand remained in the air. She looked directly into the poor face of a woman she wouldn't recognize at first glance. "Miss Theresa," Theia breathed, and she couldn't break eye contact with the woman's frightening light eyes. "What did they do to you?" Theia heard the click of the trigger and at the last minute she avoided the bullet from the shotgun by hiding again behind the wooden wheel, recognizing as Zachary destroyed one of the lifting mechanisms on it. She crouched to the ground to check Theresa, who stood in silence, and immediately noticed the massive figure of Zachary, who ran in their direction. She avoided the weapon, he was trying to hit her. Zachary aimed again and Theia bounced off the wooden structure of the wheel and jumped to wrap her legs around his body. He backed, painfully crashing into the wall of the quarry. He aimed the barrel into the air, but at the last second Theia pressed the palm against the weapon, causing the last bullet to fire into the air. She hit Zachary's head with a still hot barrel, pulled a short dagger and stabbed it into his shoulder. She jumped out of him and pulled a new dagger to finish him, but suddenly she heard the whistling in her ears and stabbing pain in her head. She collapsed to the ground, and at that time she realized Miss Theresa was standing over her, with a bloody stone in her hands which she released to bend to Theia's dagger. Theia looked disoriented into Theresa's pale face, who, evidently, didn't even know who she had hurt at all. "Miss Theresa, it's me, Theia," she whispered, reaching her wounded head. Zachary aggressively pulled the dagger out of his shoulder and charged a new tray in the shotgun.

"It doesn't matter what you tell her. She is not listening anymore. She even doesn't know who she is," Zachary explained mockingly, pointing at Theia, who pierced him with her eyes. She stood up sharply, which made him miss again. She released the wires out of her hand and threw a short dagger that stuck directly into Zachary's eye. He shouted in pain, and Theia kicked his shotgun out of his hands. But she was stopped again by Miss Theresa's arms, which embraced her around her chest and pulled back. Theia hit a poor woman on the forehead by her head and Theresa released the grip just in time to Theia, being able to kick Zachary's head, who was reaching for the dropped shotgun. He collapsed to the ground. Theia stepped to him, but Theresa took her legs again causing her to lose balance and she hit the dusty ground. Theia felt the cold hands that climbed her body, and the panic paralyzed her limbs as she looked into a deadly pale face, such a close person. Theresa held Theia's knife, which she picked up over her chest, but Theia managed to stop her and firmly grabbed Theresa's skinny hand to push her back. But to her surprise, Theresa was obsessed by mysterious power. Ackerman blood. Causing strength and unbreakable loyalty.

"Miss Theresa, please," Theia addressed her desperately, while trying to keep the weapon apart. She was looking for any remains of the sweet person she knew in her eyes, but everything was long gone. The grip got stronger, the blade was increasingly approaching her throat, and her hands were starting to shake. "I don't want to kill you, miss," Theia whispered, but she was stopped by a silent, hoarse voice.

"The-ia," the woman above, breathed out while she was stabbed by a blade. Theia was covered by hot blood and watched with immense horror, as Levi pierced Theresa's neck and with a force he pushed her aside without any hesitation. He hit the ground pressing her body down by a foot and he straightened to heartlessly pull the blade out of Theresa's body, which no longer moved, raising his sight after he felt Theia's burning gaze.
