"Levi...!"

"So noisy..."

"Are you sleeping?" He blinked, and looked firstly to her shining, emerald eyes. He tried to sit down, but her soft hands, which were pleasantly warm today, forced him to stay lying.

"Where are we?" The bright sun didn't allow him to look properly, but his forearm was stroked by grass and fragrant flowers.

"Ah, what's the question? We are at home, where else. I had to wake you up because we will be late to open the tea shop. You know well, most people arrive in the morning," he frowned in surprise. Oh... it's just another dream. Eventually he sat down and Theia handed him a yellow flower with a long stem. "What do you think? It smells good," she said, but he didn't smell anything. His hands were weak, maybe because of the medicine from Hanje, which he took before sleep. He didn't notice when Theia reached for his hand and put it to her body. He tiredly raised his eyes to realize exactly what his palm was touching. Her belly. His heart stopped. He exhaled and watched in shock how she used his palm to caress her belly, at an advanced stage of pregnancy. "I think the baby is afraid of you. Always stops kicking when feels your touch," she laughed cheerfully, but Levi couldn't say a word. Just now he realized how beautiful she is. She wore a loose dress and also loose hair, from which the heads of flowers peeked out. She looked like a fairy. He knew it's just a dream, but he couldn't help and felt incredibly happy. Again, he reached his hand to her belly, which he very gently touched with his fingers. "You could catch a fish in the pond, I would bake it for lunch ..." suddenly she slipped out of his touch. He thought she stood up, but something brought her to height. He stood up and reached into the air with his hand, but he couldn't catch her. The disgusting titan held her between its fingers and pulled her from the grass where she sat second ago. "And we could invite Eren for lunch as well,"

"Eren? ... who's Eren?" He asked while he was helpless watching Theia, who was not even trying to defend herself.

"You know very well who he is. Just another one you can't save. No Ackerman can protect the one they love," he looked confusedly up and tried to find something he could use as a weapon. He had no gear, he had no swords, he was defenseless. He started to breathe quickly.

"Okay, it's a dream. Just wake up," he breathed and closed his eyes tightly. But nothing changed. Theia hung over him, watching him with a cold gaze. "Please don't do it to me," he begged her in a quiet voice.

"Don't be sad Levi. It's okay. I am grateful, at least I will be finally free of a bond that destroys my life,"

"No, don't say that," he shook his head. He ran to the Titan, and tried to climb his leg, but the titan kicked him out as a tiny stone. Levi fell into the grass, but immediately sat down to look up again.

"You can't save me Levi..." Titan clenched his fist, which smashed Theia's fragile body like a raspberry. The dense, red blood flowed on the giant hand and began to rain at devastated Levi, who just stared emptily. He spread the palms on which the parts of the organs of her and their common child fell, along with the plenty of blood that wetted him. That blood covered his face, along with bitter tears, and he was unable to scream in pain. He lost his voice.

He opened his eyes sharply and fired from the bed from which he almost fell. He looked out of the window, where the moon was still high. A few seconds he just stared absently ahead and breathed as fast as his lungs were competing with his heart. He looked at his hands in which he kept parts of Theia's crushed body a moment ago. He desperately ran his fingers through the sweaty hair and turned in bed to check Theia, who slept peacefully next to him. He leaned up to her and stroked her head by shaking hand, trying to control his own breathing to avoid waking her up. Carefully he got out of bed, walked to the table, where he took the sleeping capsules from Hanje and walked with them to the bathroom, where he poured them all into the toilet. He threw a bottle to the ground and leaned to the wall, after which he slid to the floor. He touched his face to realize that he was crying because of a nightmare for the first time. He wiped his face with sleeve and breathed deeply to control his body shaking. After some time, he calmed down a little and returned to the bedroom, where he pulled the uniform out of the closet. He left it on the chair and put a letter with a royal seal which he kept hidden in the drawer, in his pocket. He walked to the bed to look at Theia's pale face. She turned and put her leg through Levi's blanket, as if he was still lying there. He approached her very carefully to kiss her tenderly into her hair. As a result, she immediately began to wake up. Levi sat down to her to pull her on his knees. She opened her eyes and smiled into the darkness.

"Did you have a bad dream?" She asked in a quiet voice and snuggled to his chest, where his heart was still beating quite fast. He shook his head.

"No," he caressed her hair lovingly, so she closed her eyes again.

"Should I prepare you tea?" He smiled after her question and shook his head again.

"No. Go to sleep again. I just want to be with you for a while," he kissed her forehead, stroking her back with his fingers.

"I'll always be with you," she whispered and she felt so relaxed, she started to breathe calmly until she fell asleep again. Levi watched her soft features of face for a few more minutes but finally he put her very carefully back into the mattresses.

"Thank you for loving me," he whispered so quietly he almost didn't hear himself. Then he returned to the office, dressed in the gear and left their common room. Without a word of telling someone, he aimed to the stable, for his horse, and galloped to Mitras.

Next morning, a royal delivery man arrived in the district of Trost, with a letter that shocked everyone. An order that condemned many to a journey from which was no return.

"250,000 people ..." Hanje sat on a chair, like she was poured by hot water. She didn't want to believe the words that Erwin read aloud.

"There will be 500 soldiers among them. Most of them are recruits from the military garrison and the survey corps," he explained coldly.

"None of the military police," Hanje said quietly, and Erwin just lowered his eyes to read further. "Erwin, I don't like to interrupt you, but this is really the first meeting you didn't call Levi?"

"Two captains will also participate in the expedition - the retake of the wall Mary. Peter Ryzonski from the survey corps," Hanje immediately turned to her colleague who sat in the corner of the room and obviously the will to live left him. "And one captain from the military garrison - Theia Smith,"

"What?! Erwin, you couldn't be serious!" Hanja got up so suddenly that she threw down the chair on which she was sitting.

"It's an order from the royal city,"

"Because of the order of ministers, we let her die just like Kathlyn?!" Erwin turned his look away from her.

"Theia is one of the 250,000 people who leave the walls. Each of them has family and friends, " he tried to make his voice calm.

"But everyone is not your daughter! After all, she's an ambassador! "

"I'm not anymore," Theia, who didn't wear a uniform, entered the room decently and greeted everyone. "I didn't want to have anything in common with that bloody plan and I left Mitras, a slightly more vulgar way," she added too calmly, and sat on a free chair. "And this is their answer. I gave Pyxis my resignation. I was supposed to do it a long time ago," Hanje's breath stuck in her chest after Theia's words.

"What do you want to do, Theia? Does Levi know about it? Where the fuck is he anyway? " Hanje's eyes were jumping from Erwin to Theia, but both were just staring ahead. "Hey! Speak to me!" She raised her voice because she sensed a problem.

"I was with him at night. Levi resigned from the survey corps, and took the offer of ministers to join the Royal Guard," Erwin explained to her, and shocked Hanje put the chair on the ground to sit down again.

"It's not possible and you allowed him?" She looked into his cold eyes.

"It was his decision. He received a letter from the royal city written by Marybell's hand. Levi was asked to join the guards, otherwise they would send Theia behind the walls in a few days. But if he is willing to join them, they will delete her name from the list," Erwin said in a serious voice, and Hanje just opened her mouth speechless. "This time he had a card against which we don't have a chance," he added but the room was filled by beast aura, coming from Theia, who angrily pressed her teeth together.

"This time," she breathed in a cold, scary voice while she was digging her nails into a leather chair.

"Theia, why don't you wear a uniform?" Hanje asked her with doubts. But Theia just smiled.

"I have lost my jacket," these were the words that Hanje realized was the last time she saw her, and she felt sorry for Levi, at the moment he got into Theia's hands.
