She walked with a firm step towards the administrative building where the cadets who brought her to the city worked. Without knocking, she entered the main room, where everyone rose on command and saluted. She scanned the unfamiliar faces until she found the one, she was looking for. She walked over to cadet with a bandaged hand.

"C...captain," he saluted again, closing his eyes in fear. She took a breath and had indescribable anger on her face.

"You filed a report on Levi Ackerman?" She asked coldly.

"Captain, it's Minister Stownes. He knew it! We refused to say anything but he threatened to send us to the survey corps unless we officially announced it! I'm so sorry captain. We didn't want it to end like this!" He almost cried. Theia let out an exhausted sigh.

"Alright. I understand," she said calmly and left the room. The cadet slumped into a chair and felt a drops of sweat running down his back. She decidedly went after the man she knew would be leading the trial. Unfortunately for her, she found out that he was not in his office. She slammed her fist on the door. She could know that Stowes would make sure she couldn't talk to Minister Zachary and influence the process. She angrily returned to her room where she pulled out and threw all the old law books she could find on the bed and began to study them one by one. She definitely wasn't going to let Levi go to jail, even if that wasn't the worst thing on her mind.

The royal city of Mitras, May 8th, 12:05 p.m.

She woke up among a pile of books and realized it was lunchtime. She got up tiredly and felt dizzy almost immediately. She carefully turned on the bed to the bedside table and took the medicine for her anemia. She had to admit that her selfcare in recent weeks had not been accurate. She took a drink of clean water and returned the books to their place. She looked nervously at the clock. The trial is scheduled to begin at five in the evening. She still has time to meet Zachary. After she showered and changed into clean clothes, she left her room, straight to his office. She had to go to the next building where she met a couple of cadets who saluted her. She nodded and continued on.

"Theia," she immediately turned to the familiar voice.

"Father? What are you doing here?" She asked in surprise, running to him and nervously checking the clock again. Erwin looked her over.

"You look very good," he smiled and Theia blushed slightly.

"Well, thank you. Have you returned from the expedition yet?" She asked him again, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Yes. After our arrival at the temporary base, we found out, that no one who lived there had survived, but the building itself had not been touched by the titans. We'll have to come up with something else," he informed her calmly. Theia let out a frustrated breath and began to think, how she was going to defend the funding for the scouting unit after this debacle.

"I'm sorry. And why are you in Mitras?" She asked him again.

"I'm escorting Levi to his trial," he answered her seriously. Theia frowned.

"Father. It's all the trap and trust me I won't let them send him to jail. I'm just about to speak with Minister Zachary," Erwin reached out and stroked her shoulder.

"I know, Theia." He said simply and she frowned. She realized she was speaking too loudly. She looked down and took a few steps forward to signal him to follow her.

"They're threatening me with Levi's safety. Stownes wants me to support the cancelation of the survey corps at all costs," she said in a low voice and continued walking.

"And what do you want to do?" He asked her.

"Of course, I won't support it. I trust Levi, he is a strong man, nothing can happen to him and I will not be blackmailed! I still can't figure out why Stownes is so obsessed with canceling scouting unit. He looks like he's determined to sacrifice everything for it," she walked beside her father thoughtfully, her fingernail pressed to her lips. But suddenly she stopped. "I have to go see Minister Zachary, before the court. See you later," she smiled at him and pulled out a leather tea bag hidden under her dress. "Can you please give it to Levi?" She asked, extending her hand towards him. A small smile appeared on Erwin's lips.
