Chapter XXI. Bloody hell

"So, Aldrik knows you Olivia, thanks to Bred?" Theia pushed away the plate with a meal with disgust.

"Once, I accidentally followed Bred underground. He always refused to explain to me what kind of special job he has. I thought he had a lover and that's why he went out so often" Olivia started hesitantly.

"And then, you found out that he was working for a specialized unit. He had no choice but to take you with him," Sebastian told and quickly took Theia's unfinished plate. Olivia nodded.

"Bred worked on the Big Rat's case. He was supposed to find out where the drug roads were leading. He therefore contacted Aldrik, who gave him information. He visited this place often," Olivia stopped her speech by noticing Theia's burning look. Sebastian swallowed his meal and pointed the fork toward her.

"Don't look at her this way. I think that Shorty isn' t from our unit as well and he is still with us. I tell you a million times, Bred was a good guy," Theia looked aside.

"They killed Simon because of him," she whispered, and Sebastian slammed the cutlery on the table.

"Did you see that Bred killed her himself? You saw... How did she die? " Theia looked into his light eyes. The memory of Simon's skull spilled on the pavement returned to her mind. She wasn't in the mood to argue with him.

"They drugged her. Probably by the same thing they drugged me back then," Olivia alerted. She never heard what actually happened to them underground, it was under top secret. "The drug causes paralysis of the muscles in the body. The victim is not able to move for several hours," Sebastian suddenly has lost appetite. He also pushed the plate aside.

"So they got rid of her movement to murder her without work," he whispered.

"They wanted to get rid of us one by one," Theia smiled poorly. She put her head on the table exhausted.

"Now they are not far from it either. For a titan's ass! I'm going to ask someone how to get unnoticed to the surface, even though I know everyone is going to take a shit on me," Sebastian stood up and came to a scary looking group of men having dinner. Aldrik immediately left them, and with his close companions hid in the secret room.

"You have been under the influence of drugs for a long time? What was it like?" Theia, still lying on the table, turned to the gentle voice of Olivia. She looked at a suspicious man who took care so that someone couldn't look into his secret room like he was hiding something.

"What do you mean?" She returned her tired look to the girl who looked young for her age.

"Being under the influence of drugs. Could you think rationally or you stopped perceiving reality? You stopped loving? "She looked confusedly into Olivia's serious face.

"Hey, what are you talking about?" Theia asked her suspiciously.

"Captain, I deeply respect you and you also saved my life. I just wonder, how you felt after you were, and not only once, under the influence of drugs. I think that you should understand now that Bred didn't stop being human even after that all," Theia breathed aloud.

"You can't compare him with me!"

"Can't I? And what if the same thing happened to him? What if they kidnapped and drugged him? You all condemned him while everyone takes you as a victim. And especially, no one is trying to kill you. Like you tried to kill him!" Olivia almost yelled and Theia wasn't sure where she got such information, but her eyes were so determined.

"How can you be so confident about a person who didn't even bother to tell us that you are kidnapped underground?" Theia frowned when Olivia smiled gently.
