Chapter XLV. Self-destructive pressure

"I think you have already shown us what a beast you are," Levi stood without a sign of surprise and raised his eyes to the voice of Marybell, surrounded by a royal guard. "Where is Theia?" He asked angrily and measured Levi with a disgusted look.

"She is shitting on you. Right now, she is drinking good wine with Pyxis," Levi answered calmly.

"I know she's here and looking for a scientist. She is looking for him because this kid hid him!" Richard's people threw the bleeding body in front of Levi, and he sighed in irritation. Richard walked closer and brutally pulled the young man to his knees by his hair. "It seems to me that it's Theia's friend. Am I right? " Levi looked at Asher, who was obviously beaten and tortured. Blond hair was dirty, his face and body were covered by bruises.

"I'm sorry," Asher whispered in a broken voice.

"They caught him when he tried to kill me. Theia didn't train him so badly. He managed to put dynamite around my house. To pay him a favor... " He stepped off Levi's view so he could notice the building of the former Theia's hiding place. Along walls were tied prisoners and around each of them, the members of Zachary's gang put dynamite.

"What do you want?" Levi asked in a calm voice, registering that he was completely surrounded.

"You son of bitch," Richard began in low tone and went to the standing Levi. "Are you really asking me? You killed my sister. How Ackerman dared to put a filthy hand..." Richard swallowed his anger. He tried to look calm, but Levi made him nervous with his coldness. "Where's her body?" He asked Levi, while running his tongue in the inside of the cheek.

"You breathe it," Levi answered. "I burned it to the ashes," Marybell stretched his fist and hit Levi's face really hard. Levi, without a sign of pain, raised his eyes again and removed his own blood from his lips with his teeth.

"I will find that whore and burn her alive! And you..." Marrybel pointed his finger to him furiously. "You'll look at it!" Levi's gaze hardened even more.

"As if I allowed you something like that," Richard laughed at Levi's arrogance.

"Yes. The slave will be a slave until death,"

"You are still talking shits," Levi pointed out, while Richard raised one eyebrow and bent to Levi.

"You're here because you want it or she wants it?" He asked mockingly and approached him even closer. Now he was standing a few centimeters from Levi's face. "How far are you willing to go for her? Do you really hope you will be able to put your life for her?" Levi touched Theia's poisoned needle, fighting the intense Richard's look. "Where is she now? Maybe... in that building? " His eyes jumped to the hiding place, around which the prisoners with the dynamite around their legs were sitting. Richard was unable to read the answer in Levi's face . "My people didn't find a scientist, which means it is well hidden. Deeply. What do you think? Is it deep enough not to be hit by an explosion of dynamite? Levi looked at a serious superiority, prisoners and Asher, surrounded by Royal Guardists. He didn't like to admit it, but this time he was seriously pushed into the corner. Richard was not a minister for anything. Marybell turned to one of his subordinates, from whom he took the small gun he handed to Levi. "If you don't want her to turn into dust, you will kill yourself like dirty slave you are," Levi clenched his teeth, showing his jaw on his face.

"And should I believe that you will leave her be?"

"Do you want all her allies to die for you? Along with her? Do you even realize that it's all your fault? Only thanks to you, are all these people in danger," He stretched to Levi's ear. "Thanks to you, fucking Ackerman, all of them are going to die," Richard said, turning to the people of Theia's gang. "Whoever joins me and finds that slut with a scientist will survive and for the rest of their life will have a full stomach!" He said aloud enough and Asher pulled himself to the knees again.
