Hey guys, after a year....AFTER A YEAR!!! I realized that I simply forgot to upload one chapter, this one. From the start I was thinking that it was simply taken down but no, my dump head forgot to upload this chapter in the story, and nobody noticed! I even didn't have it translated into English. So, I am adding it now, to complete the book, even though it maybe doesn't matter anymore but still. I am terribly sorry 😀

Liberio July 28, year 853 20:15

"Captain! We have Zeke! Armin destroyed the port and Sebastian defeated a large part of the Air force. Commandant Theia ordered us to retreat to the airship! " Levi breathed out when he heard from Nifa that Theia was fine. He thought he would no longer be able to focus on the task in hand if he lost her from his eyes for so long. He was pleased to see how Moblit raised to the airship and, along with Sebastian, they dragged the wounded Zeke. Levi retorted in irritation, because he wished he could hurt him a little more. He didn't like the idea that that bearded bunch of shit breathes the same air with Theia without fulfilling Erwin's promise yet. While flying through the air, he avoided bullets and noticed Marley soldiers who shot scouts from the roof, who were not able to retreat by that. Therefore, he pulled the last grenade out of pocket and landed in front of the building, where he threw it into the entrance with the idea of destroying the building to stop enemies' attack, without possibility of killing them, probably. But his heart skipped a beat when the lights from the airship illuminated the entrance, where he threw the grenade. A large group of frightened children pushed towards the walls of the building and one of them took the grenade from the floor, looking at it with great interest.

"No ..." Levi whispered with a broken voice. "Give it to me!" He reached out to the confused children as he found himself being pulled forcefully back into the air.

"I ordered to retreat! So what the heck were you doing there? The explosion could hit you!" Theia shouted at him when they avoided the explosion at the last moment. She dragged him angrily by the cloak while Levi's gaze was lost under his hair. He let himself be landed on one of the balconies, still watching the building that was disintegrated by flames. His knees betrayed him, and Theia frowned when he backed to the wall, leaning to it hardly. His pupils and voice were shaking with anxiety and soon, he began to breathe really fast. "Levi," she said carefully, her voice disturbed by sounds of explosions, screaming and lamentation.

"I killed them," he said in a quiet voice that she almost didn't hear. His mind darkened, and he saw nothing else, but the brown, innocent eyes that watched the murderous weapon in its palms, not aware that it would soon kill them all. Theia looked into Levi's destroyed face and began to worry of what specifically could bring him to this state. "The building was full of children who were hiding from us," he said, his voice above the whisper and Theia sadly closed her eyes. She stepped to Levi to catch his shaking hands but he suddenly turned her and pressed firmly toward the wall. His breath, like a desperate animal. "This world is sick," he whispered.

"Yes," Theia answered, looking over his shoulder at a burning Liberio, absorbed by the thick smoke smelling of burnt meat. Levi hid his fingers into palm and hit the wall with all force.

"Fuck! Damn everything! " He pulled away and did it again and again until the surprised Theia tried to stop him, but he pushed her away to continue."How many times? How many times do I have to see it? Again, and again, AND AGAIN?!" His mind, full of corpses, death bodies he was forced to see during his tough life.

"Levi enough! Come back to me!" Theia didn't give up and withdrew his already bloody hands forcibly to her. Levi clenched his teeth and she could see so incredible pain in his eyes that her heart could fall apart. But Levi did not know what to do, he did not know how to overcome the regret of murdering innocent children. All his feelings were mixed into one dark, chaotic bubble. He had enough...enough of this. He put his forehead on Theia's shoulder, exhaling hardly, exhausted. Theia just raised her hand, to run her fingers through his hair and looked up to notice their airship flying over their heads above the roofs of the city. "We have to come back. Kiara is waiting for us," She whispered, soothing Levi with her stroking and he squeezed his lids firmly to gently relax the stiff muscles.
