"Captain, will Levi Ackerman be having breakfast with you?" Theia stopped before her next move after hearing Riko's voice coming from behind the door. Levi looked at her face in horror. Theia tried her best to calm down and stopped the running water.
"Yes Riko, he will have breakfast with me. I'll be with you right away," she replied to her assistant and she pulled out of Levi's embrace to leave the shower. She took a towel and immediately wrapped it around herself, leaving a derailed Levi behind.
"You said she wouldn't come here!" He said annoyed.
"And I was righ, wasn't I?" she answered with a sarcastic smile and threw a clean shirt over herself. Levi let out a frustrated breath.
"And what do you think I should do now?" He asked her, leaning to the wall. Theia smiled at the state he was in.
"It wouldn't have happened if you hadn't been so slow in the beginning! Take a cold shower," Levi glared at her as he watched as she put on a military garrison jacket, with two roses embroidered on the back. He poured water on himself and turned the temperature control to the opposite side.
"Again..." he breathed out and Theia could see a stream of cold water flowing all over his body.
"Sorry, I have to tell her before she tells anyone, " she smiled and carefully left the bathroom, which was already empty, so she went into the office, where Riko put the second plate on the table.
"Good morning, Rico. Levi Ackerman arrived early this morning. We have to urgently take over the mission we were working on together, so we decided to have breakfast together," she announced, looking serious. Rico nodded wordlessly. "I will ask for your discretion," she added.
"Doesn't Mr. Ackerman want clean clothes after his shower?" She asked bluntly and Theia needed to cover up the embarrassment.
"I don't think it will be necessary. You can leave," she ordered and Riko left after saluting. Theia walked around the table, picked up an apple and dropped it in her palm. She poured tea for both of them and sat down at the edge of the table, sipping carefully. A little while later, Levi joined her, who was obviously angry. Well, the sight of the freshly prepared tea at least partially calmed him down. Her eyes followed his still damp hair and unkempt gear, which he only put in the right place after he sat down across her. He took the tea in his hand.
"You are really happy person. Own unit, assistant, and breakfast in the office," Levi pointed out, taking a piece of sliced cheese and putting it in his mouth.
"You can have it, too. You are strong and capable enough to become a captain soon," she smiled at him and cut off a piece of apple with a small knife.
"I already told you once that I'm not interested in anything like that," he answered her annoyed.
"I didn't either, and you can see where I am," she looked around.
"Why did you join the special unit anyway?" He asked and Theia looked at him.
"After the death of my mother, I joined the military garrison, where I accidentally learned about the specialized unit. I saw it as a way to find out the truth, why she had to die," she said in a low voice.
"And did you find out?" He raised his eyebrows and took another sip of his tea.
"I will. I had many information due years. The order came from the capital, directly from the ministers. You've probably heard the name Stownes from me. He is a shadow minister with many dirty activities. I've been trying to get him since I was sixteen," she said thoughtfully, carving a hole in the apple she was holding with a knife. "If he's responsible for mother's death, I'll get him, even if it's the last thing I do," she whispered and Levi frowned.
