Wooyoung huffed, slapping his laptop lid shut and picking up his phone, and its lack of notifications. 'Ughhh,' he groaned, dropping his phone back onto the couch cushion beside him and looking up at his boyfriend as San approached with two mugs in his hands. 'Mingi isn't answeringgggg,' he complained, lifting his legs from where they stretched out along the couch to let San sit with him.
He rested his legs back over San's lap and poutily accepted the steaming cup of hot chocolate he was given.
'Did you call him again?' San asked, hand resting on his shin and rubbing his thumb tenderly against him.
He huffed. 'I called him like ten times. He's not answeringgggg!' His gut twisted abruptly as it occurred to him... 'You don't think something bad happened, right?'
San let out a gentle breath, shaking his head as he rubbed his skin. 'No, kitten. I'm sure he's fine. Maybe his phone is flat? Did you try Yunho?'
Overwhelmed by helpless frustration, he whined, shimmying his shoulders. 'He's M-I-A toooo,' he complained, before in exasperation, he stared down at his laptop. 'How am I ever going to finish planning Hyung's bachelors night, without Mingi~i~i~?' he whined.
'Kitten, I'm sure you are doing just fine. Is there something else I can help with?'
He pouted. 'I need Mingi~i~i~i~i,' he complained. 'You too much of a man.'
Offence bled across San's face as he reached out and spanked him on the hip. 'I'll have you know I can do anything Min can do, but ten times better! I helped with travel planning!'
His pouty voice and lips made him giggle—especially since his travel planning, had involved the grand plan of carpooling, which he thought had already been a given. But the laugh was much welcome and actually did a fantastic job of melting away at his mild anxiety and frustration at having run into the event planning equivalent of writer's block.
Sighing, he decided to give up for the night, putting his laptop aside on the coffee table and ditching his phone with it—not without one last sparing look though.
He sighed. 'Does this mean they're probably fucking?' he asked, wishing they'd just answered his calls...
San snorted. 'When they're both unreachable for many hours on a Friday night?' He arched a sceptical eyebrow at him. 'Do you want my real guess, or the PG substitute?'
He giggled, deciding to trust that all was well, and the two lovebirds were doing what they did best. Maybe Mingi even finally found his surprise! He chose to think positively rather than gruesomely and turned his focus to the present, and his boyfriend's tender presence beside him.
'Thank you for the hot chocolate, baby~' he said sweetly, blowing him a kiss and taking a sip from his mug, moaning as he tasted the melted marshmallow on top. He'd always thought his and Sang's mom made the best hot chocolate in the world, but San's always made him feel all melted and gooey inside too...
